When they were rioting in Greece everywhere else was safe except the block around government buildings. We were in Istanbul when a huge protest took place. We were in a restaurant listening to helicopters and popping sounds two blocks from the action. On our walk home nothing was damaged in the stores. Things may have changed since but at the time it was sensible. When the politicians routine is threatened they take notice. If Biden doesn’t read the riot act to all his people and tell them the next four years need to be scandal free, he’s an idiot.
