XCR1250 Posted August 10, 2020 Author Share Posted August 10, 2020 (edited) Sawyer County Sheriff's Department 3 hours ago The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office is asking all volunteers looking to help search for the missing 3 year old in Winter to register at the Winter ball park at the intersection of Park and Grove. At this time we do have an influx of volunteers. Authorities in Sawyer County are searching for a missing 3-year-old. According to the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office, a search is underway near Old 70 Road in Winter, Wisconsin. Police are asking the public to check their properties and out-buildings for any sign of the child. If anyone has trail cameras, they are asked to check them as well. There is currently a number of volunteers helping in the search. If you are interested, the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office is asking you to go to the baseball field at Park Street and Grove Street in Winter for additional information. XCR1250 Posted August 11, 2020 Author Share Posted August 11, 2020 (edited) Update: Sawyer Co. girl suffered minor injuries in 24 hours missing Authorities in Sawyer County have found the missing 3-year-old, Abby Ladwig. | Photo: Sawyer County Sheriff's Office Updated: August 11, 2020 11:39 AM The Sawyer County Sheriff's Office says a 3-year-old girl suffered only minor injuries while spending 24 hours lost in the woods. Abigail Ladwig got lost when she followed the family dog, Peanut, into the woods at about 6:45 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities and hundreds of volunteers searched for the girl on Monday in the area of Old 70 Road in the Winter area. The search ended when Abigail and Peanut walked out of the woods and into a neighbor's yard at about 7:20 p.m. Monday. Sheriff Doug Mrotek issued a news release Tuesday saying that Abigail sustained minor scratches, insect bites, and dehydration. She received medical treatment at a hospital and was released.
