Pauling recommends 400mg/day, every single day for perfectly healthy people but people who may be exposed to infectious diseases need to take substantially more than that. I dont get sick, ever. Vitamin C is my self prescribed vaccination. I know when to up my dosage and when not to. Post all the articles you want but I never missed a single day of work in 35 years. Perfect attendance for my entire career. For over 35 years I took commercial airline flights more than 50 times per year. 1800 airline flights surrounded by nasty sick people and none affected me. I mingle with hundreds and many times thousands of people at a time. I am not scared of the diseases other people carry. Sick people don't bother me in the least.
