SVT MXZ XRS
He probably thought it was one of his relatives down there and wanted to go see which one
Fireball 440
I wonder what the zoo safety inspectors think about this now.
Capt.Storm
Well someone said that they are going to raise the fence from 36" to 42" ...so I guess they are on it! :wall;
Fireball 440
A 48" would be smarter.

Delgaty
The fence is only 3 feet tall but it's a lowered display area. The kid climbed 3 ft then fell 15, it clearly says. Winnipeg zoo is the same at the bear exhibit. It's a 3' fence with a trough on the other side but the bears can get in the trough.
Capt.Storm
Right...but the 3 year old should not be able to scale it.

I don't know, most probably wouldn't but some kids are born climbers. I know my ex told me she climbed onto the garage roof when she was 4 years old in the 5 min her mom wasn't watching. I could see a 3 year old climbing a 3 foot fence, but I agree there should be some sort of cage on the other side to prevent the kid from falling all the way in. Looks like the same guy designed the bear exhibit in the Detroit zoo.
Fireball 440
Look how easy it would be to throw momo in, maybe they should keep the 36" fence.
