This is in the Michigan steel mill. I'm at the biggest ore mine in North America and we are still running balls out but that shit can come to a screeching halt fast. First they will cut our overtime which doesnt affect me because I dont work any unless forced. Then they will lay off new hires ....then they may shut a line or two but who knows. I may not get laid off because I'm maintenance and they struggle to hire guys like me but if it gets bad I'll get the boot too. This time around I'm much better prepared than the last. I'll be fine. Worst case id head back down to Indiana and work there and just travel back and forth until shit picks up here again. I left the door wide open there and they'd take me back in a heart beat even if it was for only a year.
