Modern warfare includes cyber-warfare and its advances.

Arming whatever rebel group of the day the CIA uses to sew unrest is not warfare. Congress does not approve this , the public is not aware of it and the motherfucking spook perpetrating it on the world are acting without oversight.

Kill yourself you shameless dumbfuck for even trying to defend this shit

Vault 7 showed us some spooky things they were doing.   Like watching or listening to us thru any device that had a camera/microphone in it even when it was turned off.   That's fucked up.

Vault 7 is a series of documents that WikiLeaks began to publish on 7 March 2017, that detail activities and capabilities of the United States Central Intelligence Agency to perform electronic surveillance and cyber warfare. The files, dated from 2013–2016, include details on the agency's software capabilities, such as the ability to compromise cars, smart TVs,[1] web browsers (including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera Software ASA),[2][3][4] and the operating systems of most smartphones (including Apple's iOS and Google's Android), as well as other operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux.[5][citation needed]

Let's be clear these companies were complicit, every last one of them.   Its not just the govt we need to point fingers at.

Do you know what happens to companies that do not comply?

No but it's not hard to imagine what happens.

I agree there is a complicit nature to the tech companies just rolling over but we have seen the tactics play out if they do not comply. They receive secret letters requesting info and they have little recourse to fight them because they are not public and the government protects the order itself as classified info.

You are fixated on the application of the technology and its moral/ethical validity.  I'm simply saying that the cyber technical components of the toolkit and the ability to cloak itself is pretty amazing.

There is probably as much or more tech warfare going on than the blood and guts stuff.
