Mexico will pay for the wall is not a huge fucking lie? Of course they are lies. The guy is a perpetual liar. He’s a snake oil salesman. No doubt. The problem is, when he says no plants are going to be lost, everyone with a brain knows that it is a lie. When Obama’s says you can keep your doctor, no one knows it’s a lie. Does that make the ACA irrelevant and a failure? No, but the fact that prices continued to rise, drug prices rose, and overall care did not improve does. The preexisting conditions cause was a great thing. They nailed that. Then you can understand why it makes it so much harder to show a reduction in costs, being that insurers must now cover more people who will likely be a larger liability for them. Even given that, people with employer sponsored health plans still enjoyed a lower rate of premium increase than in the 8 years preceding Obamacare. That's progress you can believe in. So Obama put forward a plan that covered more people and slowed the escalation in premiums. It wasn't perfect but was an improvement. The Republicans call it a bold faced lie and won't let it go. Trump fails completely didn't have a plan at all. Republicans think it's a good idea.

More or less, yeah. It's somewhat of a mixed bag on costs because people who bought their own private insurance didn't enjoy the same cost reductions as those on employer sponsored plans. But then you also have more people able to get their insurance under the expansion of Medicaid, at least in states where there weren't contard® governors that stood in the way of that expansion, cause well, can't have Obama be lookin' good. Also, nothing in Obamacare prohibited anyone from keeping their current doctor.
