Yeah but that's all man made snow Last spring my front yard was crazy flooded from all the rain.
XCR1250
Most lakes here are kept within .1 foot by a Dam keeper, the lake across the road from me is lowered 5 feet each Fall, the Power Company (NSP) owns the water and dictates when the Dam is closed/open to control the levels, some days the Dam is adjusted several times. sledderj
The lake we are on is up quite high. I was expecting it to be lower coming off a dry year with below average snow pack.

His lake is a drainage lake and it's rain and snow that have caused it to rise. Hey John perhaps you can post up some before and after pics. Also @f7ben made an excellent point about the water table of the Great Lakes. We are a seepage lake. 2007-08-09-10-11-12-13 water level went to hell.... Picture from 11. 2013 2 years ago---- +5' in 6 years which put us close to normal level. This is the dock thats in the 1st picture way on the right last year in May. Look at picture 1. Yep.... the stonewall is gone. Today we are +20" of OHWM and it will continue to rise over the next few months.
