Still love the old 1100.   I'd like to find a good used one.   Heavy but shoots well.

Didn't they have to replace triggers on millions of model 700 rifles some years back or did they make people pay for them?

Can't remember how it went down but not all of them were replaced, not even close.

Yes , and they are facing multiple lawsuits from those trigger problems and sandy hook.

Just before christmass bass pro was selling them brand new for $175

That’s awesome. It’s nice that it’s affordable for any disgruntled student. Wouldn’t want school shootings to be something only rich kids could afford.

No kidding...this was looks brand new but it has to be 20 plus years old...wonder if it’s better quality than the new ones?

The Remington 870 is a great weapon to kill lots of people. Fortunatly most mass shooters don't know a lot about guns and therefore I don't believe they have been used more then once or twice. for that purpose.

But millions have been used for hunting and skeet shooting. With total disregard for the feelings of a clay pigeon

The Sandy Hook case was accepted by the SC in November.   Its not going anywhere nor should it.   The politicization of the court will really shine true in that case if the ruling isn't 9-0.  It will open EVERY mfg of any slightly dangerous product to litigation if someone uses it to intentionally take life.
