The campaign also announced that it had $58 million cash on hand at the start of August. The Clinton campaign also touted bringing in $8.7 million in the 24 hours after she accepted the nomination last week -- a haul that exceeded some of Bernie Sanders best efforts in the thick of the Democratic primary.
