This has been a pretty hot topic over on HCS for some time. I get it...it sucks...another liberal nut bag fucking with our choices of leisure. HOWEVER...it's her land and if she wants to donate it to the government and public with her own caveats attached, so be it. Nothing any of us can do about it. Fact is, she is doing something well...I'll say "good" for the future of the land. Whatever kind of benefit she gets from it is well...moot. Again..her shit, she can donate it any way she wants. And it would appear that for the next three years there will be limited access at least. That means the people/organizations that want to use that land after that had better start to make a good case for their side over the next three years. $20 says we all fuck it up for ourselves. After all, fuck her and her land right? And that is exactly what she is probably counting on. We can all be our own worst enemy sometimes.

Oh....it's "treasonous" to me too. But, remember, "treason" is now a subjective word. If you can get the majority of the population to buy in....then really, it's not treasonous if it is seen as only doing what the masses are asking for (or THINK they are asking for). But to most like us, it's treason as defined by the distortion of what our principles were supposed to be as a nation.

There are two major problems in getting Americans to "buy in" to all of this and prevent it. One is we are a very material nation. VERY! We want things...we want lots of shit. To do this, we need more money. To get that, you need to make more. And to do that.....you need to be better than others. Now, the Unions are a good way to close the gap. Decent pay for the masses....but going back to my other post..it's not feasible unless the government is dolling out the contracts to everyone...and they are trying their hardest, and getting to the #3 point in the article in doing so. Two is guns. Good luck with that. We love our guns....and that will be the last thing they will get...and to do that, well....I made another thread about all that months ago.

A growing industry now and into the future will be independent entrepreneurs. These will be one and two or even three people partnering up to do service type jobs or move intangible goods and services. They are not interested in growing an employee base, not interested in "making it rich" but can make a damn good living working for themselves. These will become increasingly popular because they are hard to for the government regulate and track...almost impossible. ASK ME HOW I KNOW. I've been a "hired gun" for different corporations for 16 of the last 20 years. It's definitely not going to be for everyone...it's tough and takes balls, confidence and a decent head on your shoulders. And of course...you'd better fucking perform as promised. But, you can work a down low easy side of it too. Simple work for decent pay. There is no way the government wants these people around in masses. They are PRO BUSINESS AND PRO ECONOMIC GROWTH....PERIOD. And vote "R" religiously. And unless one of them sticks their head up to do something stupid (bragging will do it), it's easy for them to fly under the legal radar in their own little paradise and laughing all the way. Ahhh....I kinda miss it. Whew....we get Trump in there and start to really grow our economy, I may dip my toe back in the water for a few years. It's a fun game...if you are equipped properly.

Yeah, I know, that's what these places are about though. And even if we weren't all pretty much in the same thought process, it's rare anything happens to convince us otherwise. Although, I do enjoy a different viewpoint if it makes some type of logical sense and not just a bunch of nose thumbing, meme posting rhetoric from a fucking half-wit. Now there are forums for this type of uber serious political shit too...but they are very un-fun and taxing. Like a science forum...go make a pot of coffee and sit down in one of those for an hour. JEEEEZ! It's just more fun to call people names and laugh. I like it anyway. As do most of us. I enjoy a jog around the town to check my mail sometimes.
