  1. Pretty much full on winter here. Tomorrow will be a full week of snow on the ground. Has not gone above 0°c/32°f in that time either. Have been fluctuating between -10°c and -18°c all week. (14°f to -0.4°f)
  2. I agree completely. I checked out getting some shell snow Ultra synthetic oil 5l the other day and it used to be 38 bucks a jug now it's $62 a jug. That's outrageous.
  3. Well I changed out the filter. I put the tank side on first, let it fill the filter. Then attached the pump side so it is mostly filled. I will still be running a tank from premix. What ratio do you guys recommend? I also pulled the exhaust valves out today. Under the bellows was full of oil. Probably a side effect of the ripped intake boot. Bellows are in good shape. So just need a new set of gaskets and those will be good to go. I scotch Brited the clutch sheaves. Hopefully that will fix the stutter at slow speeds as there was a bit a belt material on the primary.
  4. We has absolutely zero snow last night.
  5. It snowed all day. There was a couple of inches at 6 am and it literally never stopped all day. It eased up a little bit after 2 pm but never completely stopped.
  6. Pretty much finished the ditch pickle tonight. All I have left is a fuel gauge and a vent cover. Couldn't resist the fresh snow though
  7. I can get a Carlisle XS local for $150 which isn't bad. According to MCB performance's website, Carlisle makes Arctic cat and Polaris's oem belts. So I will give that one a try.
  8. I called the dealer for a drive belt for the Polaris and they want $225 for a belt. Is that the way to go or is there another option that is just as good? I have always bought OEM belt but they were always $100.
  9. I was thinking the same thing. It is a little stupid Inline filter
  10. I bought a fuel filter and oil filter for my 2008 switchback. According to the manual, when replacing the oil filter, the system needs to be bled which they tell you to take it to the dealer to do everything. Does anybody know how to bleed the system? I didn't find anything online. It is hard to find information on a two stroke oil filter lol. Also is there any special procedure for changing a fuel filter? Do I need to prime the system or something?
  11. Happy Halloween. I live in a rural subdivision with about 24 houses. The smallest lot is around 1.5 acres, so there is a bit of space between each house. What kids there are here don't bother walking our street. Their parents bring them into the city right off the hop. Apparently it is pretty popular to go to the west Edmonton mall and go trick or treating as all the store fronts hand out candy.
  12. https://www.carthrottle.com/post/chevrolets-new-copo-drag-racer-is-a-9-second-electric-car/ Chevrolet’s New COPO Drag Racer Is A 9-Second Electric Car General Motors has unveiled a new eCOPO concept in a Camaro shell, as a toe dipped into the water of where the COPO programme is headed REMIND ME LATER You’re looking at Chevrolet’s newest addition to its long line of Central Office Production Order (COPO) performance specials. And it’s electric. Based on the 2019 Camaro – which already has the SS model’s emergency facelift – the eCOPO concept packs a pair of BorgWarner electric motors built into a single assembly, capable of troubling the rear tyres with over 700bhp and 600lb ft of torque. The transmission is, interestingly, a conventional automatic, suggesting that the eCOPO has functional gears. The motor has the same bell housing mounting pattern and crankshaft flange as the LS family of V8s, meaning any gearbox that fits an LS should fit the eCOPO motor. The motor is designed in such a way, says GM, that to switch a compatible car to electric power you only need to remove the engine and bolt the motor into its place. Mounting the motor at the front does increase driveline frictional losses and means the motor has a lot more metal to spin, but the potential for easy EV swaps is astonishing. Built in collaboration with Hancock and Lane Racing, its current quarter-mile sprint times are in the nine-second region, but there’s more development to come. It runs on Chevrolet’s first 800v electrical system, made up of four 200v modules weighing almost 80kg each that are placed strategically around the chassis for better weight distribution. Further to the running concept is a potential crate ‘engine’ programme. The motor and battery packs could be made available in the future as a turn-key crate-delivered powerplant, just like today’s LS and LT V8s. 13. Just searched Google for this image. Absolutely beautiful car Zam. I have a weak spot for Corvettes lol.
  14. Ok that's good. I was wondering if the 4000-4500 was too high. It is also very gutless. Quite doggy. Now that being said it had 2 year old gas with fouled spark plugs up until today. So I am hoping some fresh fuel mixed with seafoam will clean it up.
  15. Does anybody have an idea what rpm a 2007 crossfire 600 should idle and then start to spin the track? Mine idles around 1500 and engages at 4000 does that seem right?
  16. Lol fuck that shit. 3.5 hours to change all those damn plugs. They are a hell of a lot better than what we took out. Also it's not mine lmao
  17. It had champion plugs in it. We put Bosch double Platinum plugs in.
  18. Just finished helping my brother in law change 24 spark plugs. 8 on his V8 Toyota and another 16 on his 05 Durango Hemi. The asshole that thought that 2 spark plugs per cylinder with that many under the dash should be shot with a ball of their own shit. What a horrible set up. One could say that the spark plugs in the Durango were long over due....
  19. Which is a relief lol. Probably just a unplugged sensor or something.
