  1. Around 240 miles range with empty trailer….
  2. I don’t have range anxiety. Don’t plug in until I go to bed and it charges up while I sleep. @Rigid1 just did a shopping cart…. $88 install, $13 disposal fee for a grand total of $800 and a few dollars after veteran discount for a 60,000 mile tread warranty all season tire. They would also price match track so take another $24 off the total. Think I will get over 60,000 out of mine based on the wear they are seeing.
  3. They are not snow tires…. The are 3 peak all seasons. They also have a 60,000 mile tread life warranty. 10% veteran discount at discount tire…. So after mounting and balancing and tire disposal a shade over $800 for 4 tires
  4. Never seen that happen. Doesn’t look like an EV charger plug though.
  5. Nokians for the Tesla are just under $200 a tire. But then I also get a veteran discount so mounting and balanced and old tire disposal fee I think all in all I think it was $800 and a few dollars for a set of 4
  6. Usually stay at hotels visiting family. Never have plugged in at a families house but they are more like an airplane ride away. Wife’s family is all around 30-40 miles from our location. Got 2 chargers in my garage so no need to plug into neighbors. I would never run an extension cord for an EV as to much crate drop. most decent hotels anymore offer free charging for EV’s
  7. 2022 model bought in December of 21. Company pays me mileage. Works out better then a company truck as I don’t have room at my house for a company truck.
  8. Charge is typical free at hotels. Charge for free at home as well. So some minimal enroute charging the cost savings is a no brainer for a road trip car. 1 set of tires, a couple sets of wiper blades, lost track of washer fluid consumed, and 1 set of cabin air filters. Been damn cheap.
  9. Mr Daisying a Tesla is like going all out in the best europeans sedan that they offer.
  10. Should last me 400,000 miles with minimal maintenance and extremely cheap filling of the tank. Your friends son must have got a bmw i3 or Nissan leaf or something.
  11. In about 400 miles or so I need about 15-20 minutes of charge time. Enough to take a piss and move on.
  12. Almost 62952 miles in 2 years and 4 months
  13. Once the factory tires are gone. I always go to a higher wear rating and tread warranty tire. Partial to Nokians with the 50-60k tread warranties. my Mustang GT had wore out tires at 15k and the ram 3500 work truck wears its shoes out at 20k. Much quicker then either of my EV’s and tire wear.
  14. Million mile battery warranty just around the corner for China EV’s. CATL also got into a partnership with NIO to help it test and deploy lifetime electric car batteries that will allow EV makers to give a 15-yearbattery warranty. This could spearhead the used EV market, as more than 20 million electric cars will start coming out of warranty in the next few years. CATL already provides battery packs that last 12 years for NIO's EV battery swap stations. Its new 15-year battery will first go to more heavy-duty vehicles like buses or trucks, which are typically used for a longer period than cars. In fact, NIO and CATL are not only striving to deploy 15-year EV battery warranty, but also to mandate 85% remaining capacity after that period. Besides zero degradation in 1,000 cycles, and a 15-year lifespan before capacity drops to 85%, the new long-life CATL battery is rated to cover 1.5 million kilometers during its years in service, or nearly one million miles. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Electric-vehicles-can-claim-15-year-warranty-as-CATL-outs-million-mile-battery-with-zero-degradation-in-1000-cycles.819405.0.html#:~:text=15-year EV warranty,in the next few years.
  15. No you don’t. Tax code hasn’t changed since like 2017. We are under the tax code that Trump enacted and if you are paying more you need to blame Trump and republicans for making you pay more. So you like other peoples tax money? How liberal of you!!!
  16. The tires on my EV’s last a long time. Have over 30k miles on the current set and still have about 50% treadwear left. They last much longer then the tires on my Mustang GT or my work pickup. Each lasting of those last about 15-20k miles
  17. Tax reductions bad??? It is so awesome when people like others people tax money’s. It’s like a bunch of closet Democrats.
  18. In the US the government isn’t paying part of the price but they are letting you to keep more of your own money.
  19. Depends I would think on age and condition of paint. If it’s an old tundra with faded and beat up paint it may need a whole paint job to get it to match.
  20. Typically most locations in the US solar is a 7-10 year pay back so yes it is relatively cheap. Solar is more affordable for low income then ever. EPA announces 60 selectees under Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grant competition to deliver solar to more than 900,000 low-income and disadvantaged households nationwide through the President’s Investing in America agenda Biden-Harris Administration Announces $7 Billion Solar for All Grants to Deliver Residential Solar, Saving Low-Income Americans $350 Million Annually and Advancing Environmental Justice Across America https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/biden-harris-administration-announces-7-billion-solar-all-grants-deliver-residential
  21. So gas and diesels are cheap? 😆
  22. According to a new study that takes the current battery recycling rates into account, electric vehicles become greener to drive than gas cars much sooner than thought. Previous calculations pegged an EV in the US becoming cleaner from an environmental standpoint after about 25,000 miles of driving. That is when their upfront emissions associated with battery production break even, but the mileage varies for each region. When taking into consideration their current battery recycling pace, though, electric vehicles actually become cleaner than gas cars after just 15,000 miles, or about a year of average driving in the US. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Electric-vehicles-get-cleaner-than-gas-cars-in-15-000-miles-as-battery-recycling-picks-up.831442.0.html
