I was listening to some reporter from the Examiner on XM. She was dead certain this was a trap for Trump. The premise being, the Dems gave him three weeks to figure out how to pay for it. The Dems are going to cruicfy him if he cuts entitlements, schools, state funds, etc. His only other option would be raising taxes... In an election year. He’d get pummeled by the right. I didn’t think much of it but Fox business had a dem senator on and they tried to nail him down on what he’d suggest they do, to fund it and he danced around it. She kept pushing and he’d deflect. To the point where she was laughing at his non answers. Dems got a plan. Pretty sure Trump just walked right in it. He can’t walk away now because it showed the Dems trying to work together with the president. He can’t fund it, because the Dems or Repubs will crucify him for how he does. Old Nancy might have just played him for the second time in 4 months...
