Rode in my son's truck on Wednesday. Told him it sounds like the brakes are going. He smiles and says they've been like for a couple months. Fuckkkkk. He's lucky the rotor didn't come apart. $200 for chink rotors and pads.

I had a Haulmark 8.5 x 25 V-nose 4 place. It was a steel frame trailer and weighed 4300 lbs empty. It was a deck over with a beaver tail and the interior space was great. But the height and weight made it way too much for my F150. It pushed all over the road and when you caught a cross wind with that thing you had better be hanging on tight. Behind my f350 it was ok, still a handful but manageable. But it scared me too many times with the half ton and I sold it for the 7.5. The 7.5 is 2000 lbs lighter and a lot shorter. It pulls easy with a half ton with 3 sleds inside.

That '75 was super clean. I love the look of the bobtails but I drove one once and decided I'd never own one. The short wheelbase rides like shit and the cabs are so small I could never get comfortable. Cool as hell though. The '79 Bronc with the crewcab, both those belong to a buddy of mine. The crew has a 7.3 PS in it. That's his daily driver. And the Bronco was a frame off full rebuild that he sunk a ton of money into. New suspension, new tires, rebuilt 351m, southern body panels, clean original grill surround, clean original interior with the low back buckets. He's asking $18k for it and can't sell it. I told him he'll have to come down to around $12000 to move it and he said "fuck that, I'll die with it".....lol If it doesn't sell by the time snow flies, he's dipping it in oil and throwing it in storage for a few years.
