  1. I seen that video earlier today. I have a 15 lbs untrimmed brisket in the freezer right now and I may have to try that. That's a long cook time though.
  2. Congrats on retiring from plowing. Last winter was my last as well. I'm wondering what its going to feel like when the snow comes and I don't have to be up at 2am. I'll probably still be up checking radar on TWN.....lol
  3. Nice. I sold the Dodge to my stepson last fall. He can deal with it. But for work trucks I own 3 Ford 6.2's and 2 of them need manifolds right now.
  4. Agreed, I've owned several Fords, a Dodge and a Chev and had to fix exhaust manifolds on them all. Why haven't the manu's dealt with this? Been going on for 20 years or more now.
  5. Apparently. the pool does pay out the stage points in the pool even for non-Cup regulars. If you had picked Shane Van Gisbergen you would have scored 55 points (40 points for the wins plus 15 points from Stage 1 and 2) in the pool and not burned a regular. This changes my preferences for picks in the future. I always assumed there were no points in the pool for non-Cup drivers so I've never picked them. Personally, I think that's the way it should be. Those drivers don't impact the championship so their points shouldn't count in the pool. Here I was thinking, even though I took Bell and Reddick and they got screw in the pits, that I would still be ok because SVG's points get burned anyways. Not so.....lol
  6. The Buick is cool but I'd rather have that Eddie Bauer Bronco.
  7. It was far more entertaining than I expected. Thanks to SVG. I had Reddick, Bell and McDowell.
  8. Its all the talk on the broadcast now. Teams are gambling that it will end by lap 80. TWN says sunset for Chicago is 830.
  9. Can they run in the dark here? I'm assuming there isnt sufficient lighting.
  10. Live shots show it pouring rain. Water every where.
  11. No, I never said that. I really have no opinion. I think everyone in politics is corrupt in some fashion so I don't care who leads the country. I do find it insulting that retarded inbred twitter followers think helling at the leader of the country some how achieves some goal for them. None of them could follow in his shoes so shut the fuck up and sit down. Do I think he's a great leader? No, I don't that will be his legacy. Do I think there are better people in politics to replace him and would have done anything different in the last 4 years? Absolutely not. I think in these days of social media and everyone having a voice, anyone who takes on a political office is doomed to a life of never doing anything right.
  12. He won twice. I'm sure he had hopes of equaling his father's 4 wins but that is unlikely since he was taxed with leading through Covid. But he's still young and we have very few strong political leaders in Canada.
  13. Meh, same problem as with Indy cars. The idea of racing on streets is cool but its too tight for any real racing. Only thing they did right was not stopping at the end of a stage. I like that. No more fuel or or tire strategies based on preplanned cautions.
  14. I'm sure a bunch of brain dead schlubs yelling obscenities from a sidewalk completely ruined his day......lol
  15. Officially, only had the one. But there is a woman who's been living with me for over 10 years now so I refer to her as #2.
