I'll go with Larson as well but its real close between him and Kyle for me. Hard to say this right but I feel like either one of these guys have the ability to take a subpar car and get a better finish than it deserves. I think Gordon's and Johnson's talents were more in their ability to convey to their teams what changes they needed in the car to make it faster during a race. I think Chad and Ray each played a major role in making these drivers great.

I went to buy one last night at Home Depot. They only work on incandescent bulbs according to the packaging. Edit. I checked Canadian Tire and they have an LED one. Off to Crappy Trash.

I originally did my house in the large old school bulbs 18 years ago. Pretty simple, 1 bulb goes out, replace that bulb. That worked until the bulbs got hard to find and when you found them you had to buy 10 in a pack for an outrageous price, and when you put them in they were a different colour than the rest…..lol I switched the the large LED’s on the house years ago and they have been great. I think I fixed one bulb 5-6 years ago. I’m redneck with those though. They stay up all year and don’t get banged around. Also they are under the eaves so they don’t see much moisture. Thats what I’ve been doing and when they were $10/ string it was easier. They are $30/ 50 light string on sale now and I’m throwing out 10 of them. I was hoping someone might know a quick fix.

Ok, every year I go through the same bullshit with lights. I set up my chair and go through plugging in each string to see what works. This year I’m at about a 50% failure rate. The fails are all half string not lit. Usually, I head to the store to buy new but this year I started with 1 string replacing bulbs trying to find the bad one. Quickly found that all the blue bulbs were rotten, working or not and the sockets are corroded. Not worth any more of my time. But now I do have all the bulbs that work available to use for replacement. is there an easier way to find the bad bulbs? Strings on right are bad.

Sammy and crew were on Stern too. The Stern show has been getting a lot of big names on the show in the last 6 months. Michal Anthony on bass, Joe Satriani on guitar and Jason Bonham on drums. Sammy is 76 and these guys are heading out on tour...lol

Pulled a sausage from the freezer, nuked it and a couple buns. Cheese, onions, mustard and a couple brown Ales. Quick and easy.

Stopped at a Shawarma shop on the way home. Gyro on a Pita with an order of Pakora. A couple of Innis & Gunn Ruby Red Beers.

Good job cause I noticed you were still outside the top 10 a week ago, 14th or so? I ended up 36th which is better than I've done in a long time. I see Jimmy 9 spots ahead of me. The wife had a great pool season last year. This year she sank to the bottom early then missed a couple races and never recouped, 68th. I see there were only 78 entries this year. It was over 100 a couple years ago. I watched about 10 laps yesterday. Glad to see Harvick had a good final race. But Blaney winning does nothing for me. He had an up and down season but got good when it counted. I would have preferred Byron to win it.

Went to Mom's for meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and Caesar salad.
