  1. I know when I went from towing an open type car hauler to an enclosed trailer, there was a big difference in the effort it took to tow almost the same weight.
  2. How convenient..... Must have been caused by aceon/enbridge installing the gas line right beside it. Old community cycle as well.
  3. I thought Doo already teamed up with Ronald McDonald
  4. Trailers seem to generally be an easy sell, if priced reasonable, so buy it and sell if something else comes around.
  5. Well, it is a Ford after all.... If I'm not mistaken, you tow a boat, totally different than towing an enclosed trailer. For most applications, either size can work, comes down to your choice. I know towing for some can be a nail bitter when certain conditions come about, so if the slightly narrower trailer tows better, is cheaper and fits the bill, have at er.
  6. You obviously have a problem with your half ton tow vehicle
  7. Who said anything about the tow vehicle....a trailer that is not as wide will tow easier, with any tow vehicle....been stated by many that have towed them, personally I have no experience.
  8. Lol...last year was bad for sure for the Sudbury area!
  9. Narrow trailer is easier to tow. Also use to be quite the saving when you bought one that was narrow....I know there was when I bought my car trailer years ago, glad I went with the wider one, I was considering the narrow version to save a few bucks.

    HOV lanes

I think I too would be rather selective where I rode my bike.
  11. Would you consider doing the job yourself? Rent a mini ex. Buy some concrete sealer, foundation wrap, perf. drain pipe, some gravel....and off you go.
  12. Walnut tree is bearing nuts this....going to be a good winter!
  13. Yep, nice little summer storm rolling through! Did not seem like it rained all that hard or much, but the amount of water in the ditches, driveway and lawn, sure told another story....the Holland River should be topped back up for a few days, she was looking real dry lately!
  14. A few things come to mind: Money spent on my toy car/drag car Not buying a house sooner Not having kids sooner Can't say I regret Sledding yet....
  15. I guess you have not been on any long weekends lately.... Seniors get a great discount as it is...not free, but a great deal compared to full pop. Now if they happened to also be handicapped as well....ever better yet!
  16. Yep, read that article actually not too long ago....education & making the right choice is key. Great comparison he mentioned is gas vs diesel.....the never ending saga...
  17. First question, why are all cops self righteous assholes Great informative pinned thread to have back! Thank you!!!
  18. It'll livin up as time passes....really is not too many places as open as this. With Zoso gone and a better set of ground rules, things should stay civil for the most part.
  19. Yep, that is correct....I covered them, but never supported the trailer with stands. I am assuming the premature cracking/splitting is part of the reason they were recalled. The LT gives you the weight ratings you need for TT and the extra speed rating that some want, majority of ST are only rated for 65 mph.
  20. x4....great info from one of the down to earth guys!
  21. My tires are three seasons old, but just found out there was a recall on them for possible issues, so I wonder if they would have lasted longer had they not been recalled. LT tires seem to be a popular choice for those looking to upgrade their trailer tires.
  22. Ended up buying some tires online from PA. Trailer King II, radial tire with the load rating I was after. Not the cheapest option or the most expensive, but they look okay....I guess we will see, but with them being a travel trailer tire that sees not a great deal of revolutions and lots of storage time, I wonder how long any trailer tire lasts.
  23. No, I was hoping to get something more local....trailer place is about an hour away. I did call one other local trailer place though, they do not sell tires.....do not want get involved with selling tires, they referred me to tire shop.
  24. Thanks George. Crappy I have inquired with, they sell the same as Princess, just more money, but Crappy seems to have them in stock.. Princess is an online order only for the size I want. Newmarket Tire & Mag sell them too, as does Duffs...found out today. Also found out that my Trailer had a recall on the tires that came on it, which are from the factory, but looks like the recall might have expired, calling the manufacture tomorrow to see what the deal is, I was never contacted about it, but I bought the trailer after the recall was issued, so not sure how that plays out.
