Ok....this may be closer to reality but it's still a major problem. More than stopping the drugs,the wall would help stem those that have been arrested and rightfully deported from freely returning again like they do now. Money or immorality is not the issue at all for not building it.....we all know that.

Yeah rhe paper route was a very good financial learining experience at an early age. Actually the tips were a big part of the pay. Especially when colecting at Christmas time.

Yup...credit card debt is also the American way. But you're right...it's their own problem just like living paycheck to paycheck in most instances.

Lol...same here. Delivered on my bike with one of those sacks thrown over my shoulder til I was 15. Then took the money I saved and bought a moped to deliver on....life was good.....kept the route til I was almost 17.

I bet you many workers affected by the shut down were also living pay check to pay check...... It definitely is the american way.....that percentage doesn't surprise me at all.

The dems could end this shutdown tomorrow if they wanted too.....Trump's a businessman negotiating a contract for the better of this country both on the wall and China. I hope he doesn't cave and holds strong in both areas.

Well.....Trump did say on the campaign trail that there was too much political correctness. We couldn't even say merry Christmas without offending some. What's a little cursing from either side hurt.....its all good. Let the feelings flow.

Bottom line if you listened to Trump's address yesterday when he had the Border agents present. .....They want the wall ,they need the wall and they say the Wall Works exceptionally well where it is already in place. I will gladly trust the opinion of those that are there day in and day out and know what's going on at our borders. They are the real experts. Give them their wall. It's a shame the Democrats are just using this as polarizing political rhetoric simply due to their hatred of Trump.... They were all for it just a few years ago....phony bastids.

550...I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors...... lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools ....and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self-improvement by hard work and self-reliant can- do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

While it sounds all nice and peachy to solve the problem through strict laws regarding hiring. Sure that would help some but the Dems aren't even allowing us to enforce our current laws ..basically trying to shut down ICE and not let them do their jobs and creating Sanctuary cities ......not exactly productive in deterring illegal crossings. The wall will dry this steady stream of illegals into a slow trickle it's worth every penny. We can debate all day on how much enforcement will be needed on our side but we won't really know that until the wall is built..... a wall/fence/barrier itself has proven to be a strong deterrent in other areas. Yes it will be an expansive wall Very lengthy but I'm sure several miles of that are not conducive to crossovers anyway so the spans that may need patrol may not be all that impossible to keep watch over. The naysayers holding this up and in disagreement have the usual anti -Trump anything mentality. Trump is spot on when he says..... They'd be all for it if it weren't his idea. And they were all for it in the past. That's all and everything that this is about.

Walls while not perfect, are a strong deterrent and would definitely cut down on illegals. Israels wall along with stronger immigration policies has cut their immigration problem drastically. Spain also has a wall and immigration dropped from 2,100 to 100. Even just attempts were discouraged. ..19,000 to 3,700.

The market will be choked for awhile amidst the house control and redundant investigations. Any more possible deregulations and economy boosting measures will be quickly stopped by the anti-Trump dem house at all costs. Trump won't even be able to wipe his ass without them investigating if he did it correctly. Probably gonna get a bit ugly and very volatile, but "devastating "......nah. I usually like trading on volatility but holy Moses....its even becoming a bit much for me. In reality, nothing all that dramatic has changed. Companies for the most part still reporting strong earnings. Unemployment still low. Rapid rate increases arent helping but IMO being way over reacted. I think Trump may very well reach better terms with China. No end of the world doom and gloom here Iike the dems are hoping for.
