nothing new here, same goes if you are on EI and get a day job , you claim that money and they take some off your EI payment. Sames goes for pensions under the government, once you start to collect CPP and or OAS your pension is cut in half - fair? not really but its the way it goes. by the way the total amount of weeks you can collect depends on the jobless rate where you live,, so living in Toronto you get less weeks then living in Windsor

although the house budget didn't change from the Previous PM he sure took a beating in the papers over the Nannies. But of course you know he only has 1 nanny paid by the house budget and the other new one is paid for by Himself. Most wives of the PM don't do anything, the Trudeau's made it clear that Gregoire will be doing more stuff similar to the First Lady. Should she do more things or just do nothing that is the question All in all the cost hasn't changed in decades its only a concern now

If you feel the President Elect can just sit at home watching the social i am okay with that and I don't care. I set up a Remembrance Day event at work, networked a live stream to Ottawa and plus we had some attendees speak... so ya I did my part sorry you feel the need to go off on me. It won't stop me you should protest Veterans day if you feel so bad about it, fact is its really not about you

You have no idea what you are talking about He said they plan to open a 10th office in Surrey, B.C., and said hundreds of staff have been hired across the country to lower wait times and improve service. “Veterans deserve a level of service and the fact that the Conservatives cut those veterans service offices was a real shame, and indicative of a party that had lost its connection with Canadians and lost its sense of what’s actually important,” said Trudeau outside of the new office. The former Veterans Affairs offices were closed as a cost-saving measure under the Harper government. In Sydney, protests were held to try to convince the Conservatives to reconsider the closure, and the Liberals promised to reverse it if they took power. Ottawa said the new Sydney office will employ 15 staff who will serve approximately 2,200 veterans. Trudeau was also expected to meet with veterans at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 128 in Sydney on Thursday.

You bashed Trudeau for TWEETING period, "who does that" a 13 year old girl was your quote. And you bashed him (JT) for showing up on Veteran's Day as self indulgent. Yes after being called worst thing from Trump, worse than you and others call JT. He tweeted, made a speech on WE DAY and called him personally - nothing short of outstanding from our PM

you are right - women should have their baby during lunch time and be back at work on time. there is no need to have any time off and if you wish to have time off QUIT. I get it sleepr you guys have made it clear -
-
you win 02sled - women in work force is bad and costs money to the employer - giving them EI payments costs employers billions a year - giving a father 6 months is even more cost to an employer.
-
Women in the work force is bad, having a baby and taking a year off bad (maybe 2 times in a lifetime) . Career men taking EI payments on a regular basis year after year is good and doesn't figure into any costs.
-
you said its costing more, you are wrong (yes its a year and not a month) 60k a year was the number I posted which is correct for 400 employees. Having a person go on EI costs nothing to the employer, you may state that a person having a baby might cost a company money by having to train a new person, but in most case that simply isn't true - give it a rest 02sled and anyone else thinking this costs companies money How is giving EI costing more than not giving it to them? I have been waiting for your explanation but you just keep spewing garbage about women leaving work Why do you keep bringing up government workers? you sound like a little child having a tantrum - try to stay on topic
