  6. its from your article And the value means nothing when comparing growth of 10 currencies And what do they mean this year? 2019
  7. yo can only hope so from your opinion link To be sure, most economists and the Bank of Canada aren’t calling for a recession any time soon. The chances of a recession over the next 12 months is about 20 per cent, according to a Bloomberg survey of 10 analysts released Jan. 11. Earlier this month, the central bank cut its 2019 growth forecast to 1.7 per cent, while raising its estimate for 2020 to 2.1 per cent. The chances of a U.S. recession is slightly higher, at 25 per cent, based on 49 estimates. Investors certainly aren’t behaving as if a contraction is imminent. The Canadian dollar has gained the most among G-10 currencies this year, while the main equity gauge has jumped 7 per cent, the best start to a year since 1980. I guess you can hope for a crash or keep enjoying the good times
  8. you guys notice SLOGANMAN never says anything other than SLOGANS...... Thousand business people in a room and all he has is a handful of slogans - expected from DOuG In his speech to business in Ontario he was doing nothing more than bashing Trudeau and rambling on with Slogans OPEN FOR BUSINESS BEST EVER - the slogans can't be beat

  10. Trails are open at the cottage to my surprise, still pissed I lost all the trails around my house. Haven't even bought a pass this year. No snow here to go in the field so might head up north when it gets a bit warmer. Might just use the free weekend pass

  13. ? but but we had a recession, best in the g7 admired by the world I forgot Ontario isn't much of the growth for the country Ford got a good economy with record employment handed to him - you equate that to what again?
  14. IRV I know you are becoming a ONEWAY but lets not go down the HE DOESN"T ANSWER QUESTION route, Conservatives don't have open questions from anyone including reporters so lets not pretend this is new to you...... the RIGHT loves to use FEAR of the bearded man..... He should stop having these open questions periods, only the bad comes of it. Another dumb comment by Trudeau - I wouldn't fire him over it
  15. sorry IRV recessions come on a regular basis, just happens that it is always Conservative governments. Timing is everything when it comes to recessions or growth. Why else do you think it happens world wide in most cases Our investment problems are mostly from low cost of oil, this is out of our control.... The idea a pipeline is going to make everything woderful is more BS So Trudeau leaves in this October recession hits the following June - Blame Trudeau Wynne is gone so now the Province Government isn't responsible for any bad that happens - I mean having such greatness under Harper that must of meant Ontario did great too ( almost half of population)
  16. You think its different today easy sell you are And you are correct while the world was crashing our country fared well, I VOTED FOR THAT once that stopped and we were last in G7 I VOTED THAT OUT See how it works for a real voter
  17. you realize that is always the case with these type of stats cutting grass in the summer working Wonderland shoveling walks for plow company get with the program - We are heading downwards sooner of later, that happens after growth 100% of the time - You better hope Trudeau wins this election Minority so we can blame him for the recession coming up. If not it will be another RIGHT DOING poor DOUGnoPLANman
