  1. Well I believe the past RXC sleds had shocks that were charged to 250 ? Normally its 200. Im no shock expert but my buddy rebuilds and is very knowledgeable with shocks.
  2. No way im heating them up. Im wondering if these shocks on the RXC are charged slightly higher then the standard non RXC shocks. Im going over to see a friend today(shock doc) with the rear shock.
  3. Yea I'm not sure where this is went or is going. But I thought it was Palu49 that posted his speeds and clutch set ups last year. He tried different set up and was running on mashed potatoes. But I thought pulled 99.. I could be off on all this. Getting older
  4. Palu49
  5. Pretty sure he posted a dragy screen shot. This was after he posted some different clutching set ups on the 600 RXC. This was last winter, and was some of the best real life results posted on here. The 600 is VERY capable of 100. Lets not forget the trail manners of this sled also. Is so easy to drive and the front end is yet still the best in the biz.
  6. Yea I get the looser snow thing with the cobra for sure. It does well on the RXC. I had one on a 600 back a few years back.
  7. Lugs are a little soft IMO.. Still like it but for straight up hard pack early morning give a rip 2
  8. There is a 7000!
  9. Totally.. Not being a dick. All good. I didn't want shitty shocks. I do not like ATAC either. More shit to go wrong. Give me good shocks with 3 clicks or 5. I totally understand its a RXC and going to be set up slightly more aggressive. Ill put some miles on it and see what happens. I was set on running those T cat/SRX torsions and front shock springs.. These lower the sled by 1" BUT they are a stiffer spring on the bottom. They have good sag(100 degree) but I cant see running just the rears or just the fronts. Thinking its all 4 springs or not. Should have bought a ski dont.. Wife says green sled! Well will see what she says after her arse and back are beat to shit!
  10. YES! this is what i have been scratching my head about for weeks. The same damn torsions in lots of other sleds. Has to be geometry or shocks? Anyone ever bend torsions? I have 3 sets to mess up! Sams club rice on the rear? Never thought of that, maybe a tube of sand strapped to the rear tunnel for this winter riding season! Or take the rear shock out and strap the torsions down for a few days? Guessing this will not do much. I knew going in I would need to respring all the way around. No issue as I have the fronts and center changed but the torsions are a issue. Maybe its not the seat its the lumber wagon geometry?
  11. YES the 3704 from the 3 years 2019-2021 on the T cat will work. I run those on my sidewinder in the rear and the fronts also. Not sure those torsions will create the right balance if were dropping it down 1: ride height. O and the front springs from those years T cat will not work non the fronts those I have and they will not work for sure no go. I assumed the 137 Catalyst non RXC would work and ordered them but hearing no go.
  12. 4704-152 & 153>I have a set coming that were special order no returns of course, but hearing they are not going to work..
  13. The 4704 im hearing is a NO GO. The long end of the torsion is to short wont work. I do not have a set in my hand but hearing they are a no go. ONLY springs I see that are different degree/spec that will work are the T cat springs 2019-2021. YAMAHA Sidewinder SRX also 2019-2021. That's it.. The sled barely moves with me at 210 on the lowest setting(triangle). The wife weighs way less then me. I realize I only have 250 miles on but this thing is a different animal. Im looking for lighter springs or open to any ideas for getting some sag on this thing. Rebound is backed out half way (13 clicks) on rear shock. The upper arm where the spring sits is thicker in diameter/ not sure maybe this is effecting sag also.. Besides the different geometry. Skid is out and on the work bench. Im at a loss. Leaving for 16 days in the UP.. IF you need stiffer springs for a RXC your 350+ pounds. Trail riding anyways. Maybe if your jumping through the streets like Levi?
  14. Yup. On another note. Who makes a sled with no other option for torsion springs? Ill take Arctic cat 2024 RXC Alex for the win!
  15. Looks like a garage full of storage bins you buy at the hardware store.
  16. BRP actually has a clutching engineer that clutches the OEM sleds. Cat just throws darts at the wall of a parts list. But instead of the parts list being from previous 600 class sleds they throw all the shit they have in stock onto the wall and come up with some great results.
  17. After this season with more cold and snow, that should be easy. On ice 4 sure
  18. Give em a bejamin and suggest they go out for a nice dinner for 3 hours?
  19. It goes 80, BUT if you hold it..... it will smoke the belt and go BANG eventually. Get your facts straight.
  20. The thing is, lots of guys are just wanting to gas and go. They don't want excessive belt wear, break downs, and or shitty riding sleds. THESE are the guys that have left cat!!! Think of the kind of guys that don't know what the difference is between a socket or a wrench. I ride with some, and they have left Cat Years ago. And never came back, and you know why? They don't want to wrench or know how and dont want to put more money into aftermarket fixes and improvements/ its because > Quality control and shitty calibrations. Whether its clutching, fuel maps, shocks, etc. Textron has/HAD the resources to do better. Nothing is perfect from either brand but Cat has missed with good clutched sleds in the last several years and counting. I get not every rider weighs the same or has the same riding style. But a brand new tight motor that revs past its power band, and over heats the belt right out of the box is not a recipe for getting sales from gas and go guys.
