  1. Cat had a power valved triple ready to go for the ZRT but production ended before it was released. That would have been a impressive motor I'd bet.
  2. 98 was the year for the ZRT, imo
  3. only on a porta tree, not on those unreliable GPS units or NHRA time slips
  4. My average mph is waaayyyyy low. But being a dyno donkey will skew the numbers
  5. that's how the NASA engineers told him to do it
  6. i'm just going to just dig a hole in the floor
  7. oh, well in that case, i try to not use more than half of all available power
  8. my opinion, based off building a few, and having input from the riders is, they're really cool for off trail exploring, especially the tight woods. They suck on the trail though. and as far as cost, to build one right, they're big money
  9. Cats are for going fast, not hauling junk.
  10. Leave it to that moron to not even be able to start a fire with everything needed to start a fire
  11. I know i dont ever mind talking about what i did on my sleds. Im always happy to talk shop
  12. Depends on the sled. Most new sleds are only small gains, 5 to 10 maybe. The manufacturers dont leave big power on the table like they used to.
  13. Track availability has been rough to say the least. Same for studs, carbides, belts, hyfax etc
  14. Olav has lost it in his old age. The last 3 sets of pipes we tried from him made no more power than stock, with one making less than stock. And the fit was so far off that the hoods wouldn't even close on 2 of them
  15. has anyone heard what the max stock MGP number is on the boost?
  16. my money is on the poo over the cat 998 in stock form. once modded, i think it will depend on distance, traction and amount of money spent.
