i guess my experiences were way different than theirs. i couldnt have been more impressed with the 858 in any aspect other than top speed.

2018 ZR8000 Bog/Stutter
definitely check the reeds. if they need replacement, go with vforce or Boyesen while you're doing it.

Catalyst clutching
we got some pretty good clutching on a stock 858, and now on a tuned one. I went with the simplest and cheapest option for now, as most guys seem to want. i'm sure as time goes and we get a chance to try different helix combos that we'll find some more small improvements but to get out and ride, it's a simple weight and secondary spring change

Long range shooting
Id go with the toric LR line for your application.

Long range shooting
i shot all last year with the tract toric 4.5-30, shooting side by side with a vortex razor 6-36 and several vortex vipers. up until you compare the max magnification, i'd say they are very close with only a slight advantage in clarity going to the vortex. i like all of the features on the toric, it has solid pronounced clicks on the turrets, the eye relief is very good even at 30 power. i really cant find anything i dont like on it. i'm just waiting for them to come out with a higher magnification scope and i'll be buying that for the mile and beyond

LED lights on sleds
I started selling the LED conversions for the procross in around 2015, and i never had anyone say they had that issue. My truck is converted, my wifes car too. I have 15 off road LED lights on my truck, even my vintage sleds all have them. I'm a light nerd i guess, lol

LED lights on sleds

wolves and polar bears
The only thing that could increase the turbo knowledge over there would be if ben offered his expertise. Holy shit is that a lot of ignorance
-
wolves and polar bears
they work quite well. i use a different brand, the solo2DL from AIM, but they they do the same thing. and in testing on asphalt, it is almost always dead nuts with the NHRA timers

wolves and polar bears
i would love to see ricks theory on how a dragy or other similar devices work. he thinks the local airports radar is what made his GPS inaccurate, LOL!

well, his one kit works for everything, so drag racing, radar runs, iron dogs, hill climbs, water cross, you name it. do you know what he does for a living? 18k kits sold this week!
