  1. holy BNG's and exciting new colors for the 60th... aMishOCKed? nope... fwiw, I actually like the colors - but will not buy one. they always say the best model year of a run is the last one, so if history continues repeats itself buy a 2027 Procross Doo... 600R & 900T appeal to me, but not working on them out of warranty. if I decide to buy new next season (not likely after the 720 build) I'll be moving on to Polaris and keeping my stock 500. that said, who knows what the RXC will be next year and that is the ONLY sled in their lineup I'm even remotely interested in - as a Cat guy. what's sad, or fucking pathetic is the 2022 launch will likely steer even more people to Poo & Doo because Cat just re-released the 2012's in their minds. no you homo... unless they're sponsoring our 2022 Iron Dong effort, in which case I'd wear a clown suit if it's warm. pretty sure I can get Hebrew National to sign on and be our title sponsor, just having a spot of trouble finding an award winning clutch kit vendor to carry us over the finish line, hopefully GABE can come up with a premade helix, weights and spring.
  2. when you see him this weekend, ask him if he still has any Phazer Outlaws that need a relocation. he helped me set up an SRV in my teens, back when people used the phone and wrote letters that the mailman delivered.
  3. isn't Skinz making knee pads for them yet? have a set on one of my Sno Pro's and they are great, really need to order a set for the other....
  4. how in the hell...????? someone riding outside the markers? funny, as much snow as Southern Wisco has I'm still seeing shitloads of rigs going north/south everyday on 51/39 we have early season riding conditions just north of the beltline of the state.
  5. I'm curious to see if they stick the 600 in an XCR Matryx for cross country racing. If the aero is good, can't see why the wouldn't.
  6. don't you dare speak ill of the GD Soo - the Indy 500 of snowmobile racing unlike 10 minutes of racing at the Derby track on 'snowmobiles' that aren't even close to snowmobiles. Iron Dog is the ultimate clutch kit proving grounds... and slides. Are you talking about the Iron Dong or Soo? Did you see last years Soo race pics? At least SX runs on oval infields and makes or trucks in snow. it's Amsoil, maybe.... great job there Killer... 5 stars
  7. don't deny you didn't watch a little of it... don't even try. I once asked him about the Polaris clutching tip on the racer resource page and he went ape shit... Tim Bender, wtf does that guy know... I mean rilly!?
  8. no, we'll get sponsors for that shit who's the best cheap hydraulic shock company in the snowmobiz right now? Monroe, KYB, or Bilstein? they'll need to be heavy and not perform well, but have awesome decals. do we even need to qualify for the race, or just show up?
  9. I'm not the brightest guy in the world but I don't feel adding underglow lights, LED bulbs, Sea-Foaming the engine constantly and replacing the TSS every 3rd lap would help us win. But, if they're willing to sponsor us, fuck it, I'm in.
  10. I think this thread needs some Rich Daly to inspire @fortune46x...
  11. this has been my worst season of riding in the past four, or five. this whole 'going to work' thing has ruined my game. time for the wife to get a part time job so I can continue my bum lifestyle. he's a special unit, and as much fun as it was to wind him up and watch him go - I actually respect his fortitude and effort. but the batshit crazy side of him when he gets rolling.... is
  12. those guys are amusing as hell to watch, and moderate.
  13. is it as hard to get the hood off these as a Procross to work on things? inquiring minds in NH and all...
  14. uh oh... someone is addicted to fanners come back to 85hp of liquid glory man... before @fortune46x fills your spot in the lineup with a cross-link suspended 602. 170hp 850's are boring...
  15. what don't you understand about Dealer Cost? don't expect lightning fast service... but the price is pretty much what they claim.
  16. so I was about to doze off last night, set the alarm clock and sleep timer and fell asleep, then woke up with 6 laps to go... what a joke this sport has become - a freight train of cars pushing air and then another highly predictable crash in the final turn. totally boring. I grew up watching Indy cars, F1 and Nascar* with my father before it* was popular, have been around Indianapolis and Daytona in the short bus, have mad respect for the history of racing and it's drivers... and more. Nascar had it's glory days and imo it's over, and I don't have the slightest clue how to fix it, nor do I really care. My father (rip) passed just before Dale Earnhardt did, which would have made him weep, and the current state of the sport would not impress him whatsoever. fwiw, I enjoy F1 and Formula E, IMSA, road racing, and Indy cars (remember CART?) so maybe as the OE domestics delve deeper into Electric Cars we'll start to see NasCarE racing, to see who's battery pack can make it 500 miles and watch a few good lithium battery pack fires for entertainment. no matter what we're racing, men (real men) will always find a way to race them.
  17. one would think in a world full of participation ribbons this race would be more enticing I'd love to do it once... with @Zambroski on the @Badger**'s Meat sponsored F7's with @fortune46x providing live feed commentary and IceMan Joe for technical support. dream big, win bigly and the GODAMM SOO too with @mnstang... on a Blast Venom with an updated injector, mapping and fucking finger throttle.
  18. and just like that, the reigning champs are out now it's down to just Doo & Poo & Doo & Poo & Doo & Poo & Doo & Poo... teams. it's a real nail biter in the garage for repairs as the Doo & Poo & Doo & Poo & Doo & Poo & Doo & Poo teams let their helmets warm up on their seats while not fixing anything. more at https://www.irondog.org/race/news
  19. not me, I'd rather share a butter burger with Butterstorm - and the drive would be cheaper. all you need to know is Iron Dog Doug... Dog Doug... Doug...
  20. then how can you read posts from the KING of CLUTCH KITS? https://www.hardcoresledder.com/threads/650-vs-800ho.1878066/post-20554404 Ricky never disappoints - and Butterstorm plays him like a fiddle
  21. this race is so important I forgot it started, and I started the thread - LMAO! I'm rooting for Joseph Hale because he looks like Josh Gates from Expedition Unknown and Jimmy Gattenby because he really looks like he needs the $ not one fucking Cat team ? pathetic...
  22. that said - those early Procross hoods are an exercise in idiocy
