  1. right I can see the 136/137 accelerating and braking better due to more lugs/studs on the ground... but apparently some folks (maybe these are newbs?) seem to think there's an enormous amount of difference in the length of the skid/rails and they have some magical bump bridging abilities. in SX it was easy to see that when Cat went from 121 to 128, and then again from 128 to 136 that the hole shot and acceleration were superior, then Poo & Doo wisely followed suit.
  2. can someone please explain to me how a 136/137 'bridges' bumps so much better than a 128/129 ? we're talking like 3-4" of additional track on the ground right? ok, I can see if we're talking about going from a 121 to a 146... but 3-4" bridges better someone do the math on this one for me...
  3. Which class can I run this in, and is the snow flap length good to go? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/308663364061400/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks&tracking={"qid"%3A"6957666846368414141"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"962034351150935911"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A962034351150935911%2C\"target_type\"%3A6%2C\"primary_position\"%3A0%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A9014141888986349568%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A501%2C\"value\"%3A0%2C\"upsell_type\"%3A21%2C\"grouping_info\"%3Anull}"}
  4. rookies... Great movie, Mel was just a young racist back then and their sex scene was racy for it's time frame. Kurt Russel and Raul Julia were also fantastic. yup, I'm old too.
  5. Was an Iola regular in the 70/80/90's until they turned it into a flea market. Symco is a traditional hot rod and custom car show. If your car doesn't meet the criteria they won't let you show it. Cool place too.
  6. I've a good deal of friends that are regulars at that one... but again, not this year. Another really fun 50's traditional show that's off most peoples radar is in Symco WI https://www.symcohotrods.com/ Luckily, Wisco is less nanny-state than MN
  7. in addition to that, I'd be willing to wager that most folks base their new sled purchases more from... 1. a stupid gauge 2. colors and graphics / spring check options 3. best performing big bore 2S so that's another colossal marketing fail for Cat on the aforementioned levels
  8. not that my or anyone replying to this threads opinion matters to the roundy round crew... so, imo Championship Class should be for a 'rules limited' class that invest into the sleds which consistently turn the fastest laps with more than 10 competitors in their heat races of less than 600cc. the other class might be a premier class with 'current manufacturer consumer available' based 600 engines and ice oval permitted alterations to a 'consumer available' based chassis. it's utterly hilarious, few people base their new sled purchases off how well their favorite brand does in Snocross or Ice Oval racing. that said, Cat guys still have Cross Country Racing locked in on the decade old chassis for now.....
  9. did being in Facebook jail make you lose your ability to google shit @fortune46x? maybe you're eligible for some free government program... https://corpowersports.com/assets/pdf_files/21-22 U.S. Polaris Race Application.pdf https://corpowersports.com/assets/pdf_files/Ski-Doo 2022 Race Application.pdf is Cor that much more advanced than ISOC? https://corpowersports.com/raceforms/ google man... 17. Lew's brand rods, probably a medium weight under 7ft. Look at the Speed Sticks for starters. (rods have become very specialized based on the type of fishing you are doing) I primarily fish smallies and large mouth, and have half a dozen rods at the cottage and another half dozen or more at home. You can find them for less online or at Canadian Tire or wherever you guys shop up there, maybe a Tim Hortons? https://www.lews.com/rods Reel totally depends on ig you prefer a baitcaster, open bale or reel in a can. Prices and quality are all over the map. Like anything else in life, spend $ on quality stuff first and it should last for ages and give you years of reliable service.
  18. Nothing new or special for the dirt segment either. Country Cat and other dealers are smartly taking on Kawasaki. @Not greg b
  19. Are you good at picking out colors? If so... You're hired!
  20. Has anyone started one here yet? Seems to me @Doug could use these bad boys. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3675077129256214/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks&tracking={"qid"%3A"6952573114182976346"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"946777200076340542"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A946777200076340542%2C\"target_type\"%3A6%2C\"primary_position\"%3A0%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A6015672250093535232%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A501%2C\"value\"%3A0%2C\"upsell_type\"%3A21%2C\"grouping_info\"%3Anull}"}
