  1. my BIL is probably one of the biggest KISS fans on the planet... but even he realized a few years ago the ship sailed in the hay days. just for perspective...
  2. night off from correcting Stinki? in your opinion, precisely how is it better than the Procross... which was perfect and didn't need to be changed? asking for a friend...
  3. does it seem like I care what he or anyone thinks of me....? sayin that, keep on keepin' on... as you're doing just GREAT
  4. duuuuude, Krommy has bashed Polaris more times in a day than you've ridden more than 50mph in your life. you've made your own mountain from a molehill here and on every site you've subjected to your lunacy. funny thing is, your first few posts on HCS I was like 'hey look, a new Cat supporter' and a few days later I was pming back and forth with people involved in the cross country circuit who all said you were a bit of a nut job, and AC loyal. They nailed it, dead on. yet... support his nuttiness
  5. this is not a loss... can't wait to see who they bring on next I speculate someone who previously worked in the Dixie Chopper division.
  6. what's a Dunbass... dumb ass? Krommer has probably forgotten more shit about Cat than you'd learn reading an entire book... about Arctic Cat. Lord you just put the golf balls right on the Tees at the driving range every day don't you?
  7. you might be the most delusional person I've ever encountered on the internet, and I've seen some batshit crazy ignorant mf'ers over the years on the internet. back read my posts Jimwit and get a grip. I've no quarrel with him... where as you seemingly will go to outright war with anyone who presents an alternative viewpoint. Maybe if you actually owned and fixed your own sleds long enough, put them through hard miles like most here do you might have a different perspective...
  8. oh? grizzly bears prefer to eat gay people? I Did Not Know That it's utterly amazing the tidbits of knowledge one can ascertain on this forum if you pay close attention.
  9. Hope they fixed this with the Catalyst and went backwards to a great seat from a sled you can't get parts for anymore. Was adding some plugs to fill the mirror holes on the adult Procross windshield and hopped back and forth between the two... Procross seats is stuffed with turducken feathers. SP seat is just right. 👍
  10. parts fiche doesn't clearly indicate potential misaligned or weak points... EVER, just fyi. (sarcasm alert) well you see, normal Cat riders have no desire to be eaten by wolves or polar bears... or for mountain riders grizzlies coming out of their dens early. if Catextron fucked this up and a mountain rider on a subpar 600 with a fucked up belt drive, bent jackshaft or misaligned clutches gets eaten alive... bad strike for Arctic Cat.
  11. @Not greg bnailed that call the day they announced her position with Cat.
  12. better way... in corporate language is generally cheaper and sells parts for the manufacturer down the road. why are the Polaris mountain riders carrying spare belts for stock belt drive setups ? why does TKI offer a kit to convert from QuickDrive2 to their traditional tensioner configuration? I've worked for oems most my life... and cost always wins out over quality regardless of brand. It's a bean counters and lawyers world. Personally, I hope they are perfect and trouble free... as Cat can't afford another 2012 in 2024
  13. TKI has been making and selling them for quite a while Sport. Correct, I'm not buying a 2024... but does that mean I wouldn't buy a 2025?
  14. https://tkicnc.com/product/2015-2017-arctic-cat-belt-drive-oil-delete/ TKI setup with Tensioner... for older Procross
  15. I agree with the majority of your points made here. Personally I'd prefer a traditional tensioner as well much like TKI which has a kit to convert the direct fit belt to a tensioner configuration. https://tkicnc.com/product/2016-2019-polaris-axys-2-6-belt-drive/
  16. when even @mnstanglowers his green goggles for further analysis, you might too. he is pretty sharp...
  17. missed one ideally you (me at least) doesn't want the jackshaft, secondary or upper pulley changing angles. it all needs to be kept inline and parallel.
  18. @ around the 6:00 mark... I don't distrust Ben... but it seems everyone here (minus one) wants far more details which aren't being provided at this time. Polaris uses a big f'ng aluminum plate to tie everything together so there's no movement.
  19. if only the entire geometry of this system had been tested in the Iron Dog this year...
  20. in theory you could use another sled as the anchor point. regardless, I've used a Z with success numerous times and it's a handy piece of kit.
  21. you've certainly done a fabulous job of painting a target upon yourself. have you heard the phrase you catch more flies with honey than vinegar ? maybe use a bit less vinegar down the path.
