  1. Refer to post number 5. As for MSM - the very first post is a graph from the CDC
  2. The threads title is COVID spikes, not flu spikes - not following where the flu comment is coming from.
  3. We're in a surge because it seems everyone can pass along the Delta variant. We're in a hospital surge because of the unvaccinated. Please note the difference.
  4. No, from what we're learning anyone can spread the delta variant, but do we care if everyone who wanted the vaccine was able to get it? It still prevents the severity of it, which is what we've always been concerned with.
  5. I don't know, just focusing on what matters, keeping people out of the hospitals and dying. Like so many have eloquently said, "it's just a minor respiratory illness" so who cares if you test positive, unless you so get so sick you need to go to hospital.
  6. I don't know, what could be worse, testing positive and not going to the hospital, or testing positive and going to the hospital. Hmmm, I wonder.
  7. The majority of hospitalization spikes are from the unvaccinated.
  8. I was talking to you, because I fall into your category when I said "anyone but Trump." You should be happy though, rather than pointing out why you can't help when comparing one Republican to another Republican. Who cares, better than Biden too! That I'm sure we can agree on.
  9. You did. "Right now its spiking in southern and western states where its hot as fuck and people are inside more."
  10. Then I default back to my original statement "You made your bed, now sleep in it"
  11. True, but hopefully voters see the outcome of this little experiment and realize everything isn't unicorns and rainbows in life and you need law and order. And maybe, just maybe, people think a bit more during the next election cycle.
  12. The vaxxed and unvaxxed are both being reported, they're just not differentiating unless you are admitted to the hospital or die. The majority of deaths currently are from unvaccinated. There's your proof.
  13. "You made your bed, now sleep in it" seems fitting. Same with what's going on in Minneapolis.
  14. No disagreement there, both sides play politics.
  15. Settle down. It's a-ok to like certain Republicans and not others. And it's ok to not like Trump!
  16. It's a useless comment as it was never developed as a flu/cold vaccine. And yeah, the vaccines do nothing.
  17. You guys say your theories with such absolute certainty. "the flu goes away during summer, unless it's too hot then it comes back" Since you want to talk about Florida, here we go. Florida at a record number of COVID hospitalizations Throughout Florida, from Jacksonville to Miami to Tampa, hospitals have become overwhelmed. Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare's chief communications officer said the hospital has 70 patients in its COVID-19 unit — an increase of 11 in just two days since Friday and the highest the hospital has seen since the start of the pandemic. The vast majority of the patients hospitalized now, according to Derzypolski, are unvaccinated. hospitals are already having to divert ambulances to different locations because of capacity concerns. At Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, there were 17 patients with COVID-19 on Friday, including six in the ICU and one who needed a ventilator, Dr. Marcos Mestre, vice president and chief medical officer, told the Miami Herald. The Mayo Clinic hospital in Jacksonville said it had exceeded its capacity of 304 licensed beds due to COVID-19 cases and asked the Agency for Health Care Administration for permission to operate overcapacity until the current surge ends At the UF Health North hospital emergency room in Jacksonville, COVID-19 patients once again were being put in beds in hallways due to a surge in visits. According to a recent Washington Post poll, refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine has now become completely politicized in the USA. Among Democrats, 93% report that they’ve already gotten at least one shot or are likely to, compared with only 49% of Republicans. https://news.yahoo.com/florida-breaks-record-covid-19-174130613.html https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2021/08/02/covid-cases-vaccines-pandemic-cdc-biden-fauci/5449325001/ https://news.yahoo.com/commentary-why-many-republicans-refusing-102200925.html
  18. Do the Covid vaccines prevent the common cold/flu?
  19. That’s exactly what I said, they’re only reporting breakthrough cases for hospitalization and death. Anyone who tests positive outside of that (vaccinated or unvaccinated) is just a positive test, period.
  20. No. “The overwhelming majority of serious Covid cases — 97% of hospital admissions, and 99.5% of Covid deaths — are occurring among those who are not vaccinated, U.S. health officials say.” https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/07/30/us-covid-vaccine-rates-delta-variant.html
  21. I’ve said numerous times I could care less if you get the vaccine. I understand why you might think I do, but I don’t. I’ll clarify: If someone were to say “I’m not getting the vaccine because it’s not fully FDA approved” Fine, that’s a valid argument. Now if you said “I’m not getting the vaccine because I heard you grow a third arm…..” well those are the types of things I enjoy replying to. Kind of like the title of this thread “vaccinated 1500% more likely to die” common, you and others are smarter than that. Again, nothing personal, and it’s fine if you don’t want to get it.
  22. Ah, well too bad that won’t happen because they’re still reporting breakthrough cases for hospital admissions and ultimately deaths.
  23. That doesn’t even attempt to explain why they stopped reporting breakthrough cases in the general public and only in hospital settings. Rather, you just decided to add in your personal thesis on the vaccine. You forgot C) the unvaccinated are making up the vast majority of Covid deaths (remember June had 9000 deaths with 90%+ being unvaccinated?) Stop insulting my neurons.
  24. I think he was vaccinated, so most likely not. Or according to some of the antivaxxers, maybe he will be dead by then?
