  1. The original data is still secure. A copy was made and transported off site. If it was already compromised once it was released by the state (to who? the auditors? to the republicans? I haven't been following this..) then what would it matter? I'm having a tough time understanding this. If the data was shared with people who have been authorized to look at it, how does it then become compromised?
  2. So someone made a copy of the data and took it offsite to be examined... The original drive/data is still safe and secure at the audit site. What is the big concern here?
  3. Heh.. You guys got it easy. Here's what some NYers want to add to their already ridiculous laws... A7771 (ACTIVE) - SUMMARY Relates to establishing additional requirements to purchase a firearm, shotgun or rifle; requires a person to apply for a hunting license prior to the purchase of a shotgun or rifle; establishes additional requirements for all firearms, shotguns and rifles including taking a five hour gun safety course and exam, passing a shooting range test with 90% accuracy, providing notarized proof of a passed drug test and mental health evaluation, providing proof of purchase of firearm and ammunition safe storage depositories and passing a criminal background check.
  4. Does that actually look functional to you...?
  5. That ain't gonna fly either.. Sorry. Federal prosecutors said there was “strong evidence” the pro-Trump mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol last week aimed to “capture and assassinate elected officials,” but the head of the investigation cautioned Friday that the probe is still in its early stages and there was no “direct evidence” of such intentions. Michael Sherwin, acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, backed away from those claims later Friday, saying they have “no direct evidence at this point of kill, capture teams.” Capitol rioters intended to capture and kill lawmakers (ajc.com)
  6. That district is in the NYC area. Believe me, this will help her more than hurt her. For reference, AOC is from the 14th district, just south of there, further into the city.
  7. Hey guys.. I can't vouch for the story either way, but just for the record Wyoming county/Arcade is not Tug hill. It's Western New York, southeast of Buffalo. It wouldn't surprise me either way because there are plenty of asshats out here. Rich
  8. I haven't heard anything good about the salt-less units. The one I mentioned above requires salt but it's fairly cheap..at least in the states.. $6usd for a 40 lb bag.
  9. Yeah, if I remember correctly, there are 3 different types of iron. The softener deals with 2 of them and you need to kill the bacteria to deal with the third. Yeah, the ones on amazon are just a hair higher than that in usd. I think the smell is caused by bacteria in the well. I think you need to dump chlorine in it and/or get a chlorinator for that. Not 100% on that one..
  10. If you can do the plumbing yourself, you can get new ones from amazon or possibly other on-line sources for about $1000cdn. Search 'fleck 5600' and you'll get a bunch of options back. https://www.amazon.ca/ABCwaters-built-5600sxt-Softener-Capacity/dp/B074VDDPLG/ref=sr_1_4?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1515196223&sr=1-4&keywords=fleck+5600+48000 These are nice units. I'd also recommend you add an inline filter before the softener. I have one of these. https://www.amazon.ca/Culligan-HF-360-Sediment-Filter-Housing/dp/B000BQUPZ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515196025&sr=8-1&keywords=culligan+360 Not sure which filter would work best for you, but I use 20 micron ones. These two would solve a lot of your issues. Do you drink this water or do you buy bottles?
