    A arm clean up

Anyone who tried to sandblast the coating on the old PRS skis, knows how tough that chit is.

    A arm clean up

Actually I don't think powder coating is all that expensive. I had the springs for my front springs done in Courtice this summer & it was reasonable. Not sure off the top of my head what the coast was (included sandblasting).
  3. I wonder what Slick Willy would think?
  4. http://nypost.com/2016/11/10/giuliani-disses-anti-trump-protesters-as-crybabies/ Pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?
  5. Some discussion on OC since Sept' about this.

  7. FINALLY election day has arrived. I wonder if the Canadian media will STFU about it after the results are announced?
  8. A letter to the local weekly: http://www.mykawartha.com/opinion-story/6949983-a-tale-of-two-immigrant-families/ Good to see not everyone thinks Monsef is so angelic.
  9. Her policies have probably made more people homophobic. You might not care one way or the other about a person's gender identity/sexual preference, but the way her LGBT agenda (look her up in Wiki) seems attached to ANY announcement in the province has turned a lot of people off. I remember back in the early 90s when Bob Rae & the NDP were turning off the taps to Wintario grants. At a meeting an executive asked about the annual thousand dollar grant we usually applied for (& received) from Wintario. The prez said we no longer qualified. That being said, he continued, "If we could get a pic of a disabled, black lesbian on a sled, they'd probably give us a blank cheque."
  10. http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/canadian-politics/58-per-cent-of-ontarians-think-kathleen-wynne-should-resign I wonder what the IQ of the other 42% is?
  11. Some more cheerleading from the weekly Peterborough This Week: http://www.mykawartha.com/news-story/6945415-monsef-reflects-on-first-year-as-peterborough-s-mp-and-canada-s-minister-of-democratic-institutions/ Suck it up princess! In other words she has accomplished next to dick all in the riding. One of the community events she refers to was appearing at the RCMP Musical Ride's show in Apsley on the Labour Day weekend. Don't worry I was out of the country then. She should be well aware of the social ills confronting the city since her constituency office is located on one of the sketchiest streets in downtown. Her Job Summit in the riding was described as a tea and crumpet party. Apparently it was mainly her supporters sitting around making suggestions. I don't think there were any business leaders that could have an impact on the local economy.
  12. Did you expect anything else? http://www.chextv.com/2016/11/04/trudeau-backs-monsef/
  13. Thibeault's 1st strike was changing political parties. As much credibility as Bob Rae jumping from the NDP to Liberals. As we get closer to the 2018 provincial election it will be interesting to see when the Libtards start jumping ship & retire (see CPC MPs prior to 2015 election). I wonder what the chair warmer in Peterborough riding (Leal) does? He hasn't had an original thought during his entire time in office. Other than standing in front of a camera reading a prepared statement (no doubt written by the Premier's staff) he doesn't have anything to say. Mind you the local media is pretty soft on the Liberals (federally & provincially). Never ask any questions just report on what was said. Strange that it took the Globe & Mail to publish Monsef's "fairy tale". Where were the 2 print outlets, CHEX or the radio stations? If they were covering the campaign, they must've heard the whispers about her origin. Or were they so taken with her story that it had to be true?
  14. I was discussing a municipal employee being fired last year w/ an acquaintance who was a Bell supervisor. He told me if his guys were stopping for lunch or a snack be careful where you park. "Yes, you might be going into the Mac's for a pop & bag of chips, but if your truck is parked down the strip mall in front of Joe's Bar & Grill, you know what people will think". Back to the original topic: http://www.cp24.com/news/thibeault-says-he-won-t-resign-after-being-named-in-election-act-charge-1.3144406 Spotted him sitting behind the A-G in the house the other day when the A-G was dodging the Opposition questions.
  15. There was a controversy in Lindsay last winter or the year before. Someone squawked on Faceplant about seeing a municipal truck @ a McDee's. Pics were posted & all sorts of crap was posted online. Works Dept head said the employee had stopped for a coffee/washroom break during the night shift. GPS records showed the truck was stationary for only a short period of time. End of outrage.
  16. O2, you could've saved yourself a lot of typing & just said this: "feather bedding" Mind you Fail probably has never heard of this before. Killer would say it doesn't exist in Toronto.
  17. Pandering to have Hillary meet Justine: http://www.plant.ca/general/how-canadas-liberals-annoyed-hillary-clinton-team-over-fundraising-163128/?custnum=21952463211&title=Owner&utm_source=474&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=161101S
  18. CTV is reporting that PM Justin Trudeau tweeted his condolences to the victims of the knife attack in Abbotsford BC. WHO THE FUCK TWEETS CONDOLENCES? You're the prime minister you fucking asshole, not a 17 year old girl for fuck sales! If you're too lazy to phone the familes, write a letter have a staffer prepare it & draw an X on it in crayon. He got flak from the family of 1 of the Canadians killed in Mali this year over the way he apologized. You have to wonder if the dolt can even tie his own shoes.
  19. Just like the Monsef supporters
  20. The PCs & NDP asked the Premier 6 or 7 times whether or not she asked Sorbara & Lougheed to approach the Olivier to quit. The Attorney General Naqvi stood up all but once to blather away. The time Seabiscuit got up to wave her hands around she said she had been open with the Legislature and the public concerning the matter. Freezerburnt is saying, "I told you so!"
  21. " Bono selected to be Glamour magazine's first Man of the Year" Justine is probably pissed about that. LOL
  22. From today's Sun: http://www.torontosun.com/2016/10/31/liberals-in-denial-about-monsef-story
  23. If there is such a skilled trades shortage, has anyone thought of promoting apprenticeship programs? What about the laid off trades people from the 'patch? I can't see why a construction worker in Alberta couldn't be hired to work elsewhere. Lots of yammering that Canada's high tech industry is suffering because of manpower shortages. Maybe they could train from within?
