I was just using that as an example, I have plenty more but dont feel like boring the fuck out of everybody. We actually found a doctor who specializes in her condition and I am paying for her treatment out of pocket because insurance doesnt cover this kind of treatment. All of the lab work, special diet now and about $300 - $600 a month in supplements. She just started so we will see how it goes.

Right now with all of our "intelligence" you dont think we can see who and where the terrorist organizations are getting weapons and funding? There is alot of political pressure we could put on them as well as the rest of the civilized world. But we dont, we are in the business of ousting leaders and then letting the chaos that ensues to flourish. Al Quieda and ISIS have been funded and weaponized by us and the Saudis. We could start by stopping that... Syria isnt a major producer. You obviously dont know what is going on there.

Both mine and my wife's parents are elderly with health problems. So we see first hand how the networks cash in on the medicare and insurance. My wife got lyme a few years back and is now dealing with the autoimmune disease that follows. Her own GP told her his hands are tied as far as what he can prescribe for her because he has to run her thru their network and all of their specialists. He cant send her to where she would get the best treatment. There is a lot of waste and redundancy in our health care system. a universal guideline would work better overall IMO. Thats just one instance but there are lots of people who are suffering from all kinds of ills who are tied to their networks and not getting the treatment they really need. Personally i think this is where a universal program would work but it would have to be patient based with the overall benefit to the PATIENT and the the network providers. However I am skeptical that our govt would provide that in a universal plan. Because politcians are in the pockets of the various lobbies. In the mean time we will continue to get fucked.

The Saudis have been funding them. The CIA has been messing around over there. If you watched the video it looks like the Saudis were offering to basically hire us to oust Assad. And Russia and Iran (coincidentally our new enemies) have put a monkey wrench in things. I thing Russia is going to push the envelope on this one..

There is plenty of competition in insurance, don't let them fool you. If a company doesn't participate in a specific market it's because there is no money in it. The whole concept of Obamacare was drafted by a conservative organization to make the risk pool as large as possible with lots of young healthy people so the prices would be cheaper for everyone. However there is nothing being proposed that addresses healthcare costs. Right now the private medical industry is fucking us hard. The only thing that can change that is govt regulation. Or just abolish the employer mandate and watch them scramble for individual business.

Same thing happens with sledding or whatever. If you are riding with a group you automatically get sucked in to what the dumbest mother fucker in the group does. I'm trying to be more selective about my groups these days. There are some people I absolutely will not ride with.
