  1. Probly the only thing you've ever finished 1st place in
  2. If you ride as fast as you talk, you'd give 312 a run for his money
  3. 2 will make it a bit more exciting. Probly couldn't keep up with jim though, he'll probly have a super special factory shock setup
  4. It's just a fast-paced trail ride. Maybe some other forum guys would show up, we could run a 2 lap freedom sledder class. Ak440 says we won't get any rideable snow so I'm sure a bunch of guys would be happy to get out riding
  5. No chance I'll win, I'm old and slow, but I'll enter if you do. Would be fun to get out there again.
  6. Here's your chance to make a few bucks. All you have to do is finish faster than 1 person
  7. I'll donate $100 if he finishes better than dead last
  8. Maybe it's different in other industries but what I'm used to, ot was random. Some years you had alot some very little. Seems it would be hard to plan for that type of income on a state level. It has no affect on me, but It seems like the benefit would out weigh the cost any way you look at it.
  9. When I used to punch a clock, overtime was never a guarantee, changed day to day, week to week. If the state doesn't plan on receiving that money when doing the budget why do they need to worry about replacing lost revenue? It would impact the people earning it more than the state not receiveing it. Not too mention if they have more money to spend the state will collect more sales tax. Seems like a win all around. I can't see how either party could be against this unless they just want more money to waste.
  10. Do you know if it has a maf sensor in the intake tube? My f350 has been running really rich lately and it ended up being a bad maf sensor
  11. I know ever generation looks at the ones after them and thinks the kids are a bunch of idiot fuck ups but these teenagers now are seriously dumb as hell. Might be book smart but lacking in common sense and street smarts. The few kids that have common sense and street smarts with a good work ethic will be/are rock stars compared to their peers
  12. Exactly. Teachers have biases and agendas just like everyone else and use their positions to push kids the direction they want them to go. They shouldn't be allowed to teach anything other than the basics.
  13. Why can't schools just teach things kids need to become usefull members of society? Reading, writing, math, english, how to balance a check book, money management, you know, things you need in day to day life. Leave the social, religious, and lifestyle things up to the parents.
  14. Definitely alot different than the nd and mn races but it was alot of fun. It's too bad they don't have it on the schedule anymore.
  15. It wasn't so rough as far as bumps go but it was a spring race and they had it layed out like an enduro dirt bike race. Lot's of mud, water crossings, and single-track type woods riding. The ice heaves that changed lap to lap were kinda spooky running flat-out across the bay
  16. Could've been the smart valves bouncing off the bottom of the tank. We had issues with that running wfo in the tough stuff. Ended up ziptying weights to the valves to hold them down
  17. My 04 did that to me out on the island in Munising. Tried riding back to the pits but didn't have enough power to get through the creek crossings. Ended up soaked and then frozen stiff by the time the sweep crew found me and got me back across superior to the pits. Closest I've ever been to hypothermia. That race was knarly, saw alot of crazy stuff happen there
  18. Yeah pipe issues are more common than people realize. Were you racing in the firecat days when the pipes would blow out usually as far from a road as possible?
  19. Lock wire definitely does the job. Now that I'm old and slow i take the easy way with just rtv
  20. Works most of the time. If you hit a big hole and flex everything it wont really help much but for vibration it does. I think the newer cats come with silicon inserts in the springs, maybe it's polaris i can't remember
  21. We run silicone on all springs to try to take out the vibration that makes them break and fall off. Pounding through the rough ditches can stretch them too and then they'll fall off.
  22. Yeah they're definitely making better dangerous game ammo today. I'd still prefer the 10mm if i was in grizz country though.
