  1. I've ridden both, assault handled way better than the riot. It did have gripper skis and 8in carbides and the riot was on stockers with 6in. My rr handled better than both but for a crossover the assault was pretty nice. Off trail i was burried everywhere and he'd ride circles around me. Next sled will probably be a catalyst riot with a wide zr front end and custom shocks.
  2. It's definitely a good working setup for polaris. I wish cat would do that on the riot. I'd like to get a ride on the 136 xcr, tipped rails and a 2.52 track would be a fun setup
  3. There's more too it than just 2 less lugs on the ground. I think the way the track wraps around the rear wheels with the angle in the rear and probably a different angle on the front rails makes it more efficient and faster.
  4. I think the tipped rails is where the speed comes from on the polaris. The rail profile is more efficient than the cats. My buddies assault you can push the sled with 1 foot on the bumper and it rolls. My 137 cat wouldn't roll more than a few inches. I had everything aligned/squared up and all bearings in good shape too. The guy on the assault is just gas and ride, no setup at all
  5. Old school 121 would be the quickest in that case. Imo 128 is the best trail setup, 144 for a cross over. 137 is a slug, like running a bus down the trail. I hated my 137 rr even after many hrs/ miles of setup.
  6. Roger knows all kinds of cool stuff, I'm betting jimbo runs his mouth more than he listens around him (assuming him knowing roger isn't bullshit like the rest of what he says)
  7. That's the most intelligent thing you've ever posted
  8. How could it be better? You said nobody could tell the difference
  9. The fact you can't tell the difference really shows your true skill and knowledge of sleds and racing. Any chance there's geometry changes and arm length/mounting differences between the 2? You might be able to bullshit your buddies at the bar with your name dropping but you really are in a whole different game than the guys you're talking to here
  10. I set myself up differently than most, i was self employed at 30 as an owner operator. I take july through November off work every year and long weekends through sled season. It's definitely affecting my retirement savings but i enjoyed life while i was young and could do anything i wanted. My plan is to keep at this schedule untill I'm 60 then go haul rv's. Basically get paid to tour around the country untill i die. The only thing that sucks about this is all your friends end up being old because people your age are all slaving away at work while you're out having fun
  11. It's fast enough for jimbo and that's all that matters
  12. He's pretty much the same as any politician now. I do hope he wins and burns the establishment down around him on his way out but sadly i don't think it'll happen
  13. Do you seriously think any politician is doing it for the good of the people not for themselves? I suppose you're the kind the believes "they're from the government and they're here to help"
  14. He wasn't prior to becoming president, now he's the same as the rest of the swamp, and we're stuck with the better of 2 shitty candidates. Saw a video the other day saying we aren't really free anymore, just free range humans living in a tax farm. That's the most accurate description I've seen of this country. it doesn't matter who's in charge, we're getting screwed
  15. The healthcare plan was pure bs, i do think mexico was going to pay for the wall through trade agreements not writing a check like all the retards thought. Again, you seem surprised that a politician lied.....
  16. 1st time you've ever heard a politician lie? they lie, misrepresent and exaggerate every time they open their mouth
  17. What do you expect a non politician to do? You need to hire experienced people to run the place. I think he truly believed he could drain tbe swamp but didn't realize the whole system is corrupt to the core and needs to be burned down and restarted
  18. I'm far from a trumper but he's way better than voting for any democratic. I think his supporters are just sick of the government fuckery and think he's going to actually drain the swamp. Unfortunately the government is too big to fail unless there's violence and the country is too pussified to do anything like that.
  19. I live between the 2 liberal cesspools of our county and haven't seen 1 pro biden flag anywhere. I know the supporters are here but they're too embarrassed to openly admit it
  20. I put on 4k mi a week all over the country and i see pro trump stuff everywhere. I can't remember the last time i saw a biden flag.
  21. Imagine a country where the president isn't mentally capable to stand trial, can't complete a sentence, or walk up the stairs
  22. It's almost like they just don't care.....definitely not the reps like the old days that would actually listen. I'm betting most Aren't even from the industry, probly just another job for them on their way to bigger better things
  23. I wouldn't have agreed with slavery like i don't believe in abortion but if i was alive in those times i still likely would've voted for the rights of the states vs the federal government. Imo the biggest threat we have to our freedoms is a bloated fed government with too much controll over our lives
  24. The difference is, if you don't like California's laws and reparations you can move, if the feds do it we're all fucked. I'm all for states rights and as small of a fed government as possible
