  1. Still never posted you hours/ kms. I'm averaging 35kmh. Post up or shut up. We'll see who's leisurely putt putting.
  2. And you can't keep up! But hey your just a mud bogger. Cool! I didn't like the cvtech. If your willing to give me your revx I'll take it and try it. Set it up for 26" trail tires. I'm sure you have the knowledge. When you need help setting up your shocks call. I'm sure you've never touched em yet.
  3. I had a racer. No good for 250km days. Keep digging!
  4. Mayweather has been boxing and training what 30 years? Some claim the best ever. Connor has been training as a boxer for 6 weeks? Think about it people. If Connor doesn't land a Haymaker early he's gonna get fucked up very badly!
  5. Let's put it this way. You'll go further/ longer and greatly lengthen belt life in the mud with $2500 of clutches. It won't make your bike any faster or smoother going down the typical trail. You CAN NOT use all the stock 1000s hp with the stock suspension. No way shape or form. For the trail rider, fast trail rider, your better off sinking your money in good quality shocks period.
  6. Yep he's dead. Sad. But all those guys on serious gear like him are living on the edge at ALL TIMES!!!
  7. Did he die? Only been a week or so. He was a freak. Body doesn't last forever on that shit!
  8. If you say so. If I was a mudder and drove 10 km a day clutches would be #1. When you cruise along at good speeds like us hitting 1-2 foot junk shocks are #1. We do lots of 250+ km rides. Stock shocks are pieces of shit and down right dangerous! I couldn't follow you in the mud. My bike is a trail bike. I would drag you on the trails. Higher the speeds the bigger the gap. Stock clutches work well for me and everyone I know runs em here. Some have kits, i have a dalton in the box, no need for it. No belt issues. 5k on a belt is no joke! I didn't pay almost $15000 to put mud up to the handlebars. Not my thing.
  9. Cvtech engages smoother yep. Noisy as fuck. Couldn't fix it. For high speed riding we do I, I, i like the stocker better than the cvtech. I couldn't get it right. It would either be a high reving monster with low top end or flat when you nailed it. Cruising 80-100+ is not putzing around. I've seen your mudding skills on ostacruiser channel. Seems about right.
  10. You better do your research. Not as smart as you think. Elka stage 4s legacy series. You said you run on the limiter and I don't run hard. Your hours and miles will tell us how fast you are. You must have a unicorn commander. Research can am clunk.
  11. QSC & stm. Clunk is still there with stock secondary. Where is the clunk in Stock primary? You should go check your hours and kms. Maybe your not as fast as you think. Modded bike with stock shocks will not even try and keep up in the rough. No contest.
  12. Whatever you say. We don't mud bog. Stock clutch is way quieter than cvtech. Can am clunk is from the helix in the secondary. What's your hours/ kms?
  13. I put stock belt back on 5000+ kms on that one. Rail beds, logging roads and trails. No belt issues till stocker wore out. Cvtech was noisy as hell too.
  14. I wore out the stock clutches. I tried lots of setups. 1015, 1016 & 1017 springs. 2004, 2005 and 2006 weights. Tried every combo. I liked stock clutch best for what we do. I have 370 hours and 13000kms. We ride fast. Only blew one belt. Gates kevlar on last trip with stock worn out primary. Was hot day. 30c. Was running 100 kmh when she went boom.
  15. Screws probably the best. I think you'll do alot of spinning on the ice without.
  16. I just priced a rev x $1800 & a STM $900. Last month. It is what it is. I had a cvtech. Just dumped it last week and bought 2 new takeoff stockers. Mine were worn out. For the fast trail running we do I liked the stock primary better than the cvtech. I feel it's the weight. The stocker weighs way more and has a flyweight effect that I just like. The stocker will cruise right along while I found I was always on the gas with the cvtech. Yes I got stage 1s for $999, all 4. And I think stage 4s were $1649??? When the big sale was on. When you say podiums. You mean those $600 ones in the accessory catalog? If so the stage 1s at $999 were way better shock.
  17. Stock shocks suck period. You can't use the stock hp with those pos. I've had stage 1s $999. Huge upgrade! And now Stage 4s. No comparison. Put clutches , exhaust , tuners all you want. For trail riding shocks are the biggest upgrade. Stock shocks are scary. Set of clutches is around $2700 in Canada right now. I paid half that for my stage 4s.
