Donald Trump More Trustworthy Than Hillary Clinton, Poll Finds Melissa Chan @melissalchan 9:01 AM ET 46% of likely voters say Trump is more honest and trustworthy than Clinton Play Mute Current Time0:00 / Duration Time6:23 Loaded: 0% Progress: 0% ShareFullscreen Donald Trump Runs for President: A Look Back More voters trust Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, according to a new tracking poll released Wednesday. The Republican presidential nominee leads his Democratic rival on honesty and trustworthiness by eight points in a Washington Post-ABC News poll, which found 46% of likely voters saying Trump is more honest and deserving of trust. That’s considered a wide lead for Trump since the two White House hopefuls were tied on the same question the last time a Post-ABC poll asked voters in September. The poll comes after the FBI reopened an investigation into Clinton’s private email server, having found more emails on the private computer of senior aide Huma Abedin. The same poll, conducted Friday through Sunday, found Trump and Clinton neck-and-neck in overall voter preferences, with 46% of those surveyed saying they support Clinton and 46% backing Trump. However, polls of polls still give Clinton a slight lead over Trump nationally. The RealClear Politics polling average for Oct. 22 to Nov. 1 shows Clinton ahead by a margin of 1.7 percentage points, with 47.2% support. The latest Post-ABC survey interviewed 1,773 people and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 points. [Washington Post]

  5. It's ok because Obama said so... President Barack Obama speaks during a campaign event for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at Capital University, Tuesday, Nov. 1, in Columbus, Ohio. | AP Photo Obama calls black vote ‘not as solid as it needs to be’ By LOUIS NELSON 11/02/16 09:10 AM EDT Share on Facebook Share on Twitter President Barack Obama implored black voters to turn out for Hillary Clinton just as they did for him in both of his elections, remarking Wednesday morning that “the African-American vote right now is not as solid as it needs to be.” “I’m going to be honest with you right now, because we track, we’ve got early voting, we’ve got all kinds of metrics to see what’s going on, and right now, the Latino vote is up. Overall vote is up. But the African-American vote right now is not as solid as it needs to be,” Obama said in an interview on the "Tom Joyner Morning Show", a syndicated radio program that plays mostly R&B music and draws a largely black audience. Story Continued Below Early voting among African-Americans is indeed down sharply relative to last year, a bad sign for Clinton, whose lead over Donald Trump has narrowed in recent days. In North Carolina, an all-but-essential state for Trump if he is to win the White House, the number of black voters casting ballots early is down 16 percent compared with 2012. The number of white voters, however, has increased 15 percent, according to The New York Times. That same Times story reported that the number of African-Americans voting early in Florida is down 10 percent compared to four years ago. Obama said Trump’s “only agenda is to reverse everything I’ve done over the last eight years, reverse everything Michelle’s done over the last eight years,” highlighting progress on jobs, college affordability, early childhood education, global warming and other issues that Trump might imperil. The president said that if he is succeeded by the Manhattan billionaire, Americans can “immediately” expect tax cuts for the wealthy, the removal of millions of people from Medicaid and cuts to Pell grants and historically black colleges and universities. If Trump is elected, Obama said, “right away, I guarantee you they’ll dig up Michelle’s garden.” Faced with Trump as his successor “because folks stayed home,” Obama joked that not even a vacation on one of Joyner’s famous cruises, which this year will feature performances by Mary J Blige, R. Kelly and Anthony Hamilton, would cheer him up. “Even going on the Tom Joyner cruise won’t help me then. I mean, if I was on the Tom Joyner cruise, I might jump off.” “I know that a lot of people in the barber shops and the beauty salons and, you know, in the neighborhoods who are saying to themselves, ‘Well, you know, we love Barack. We especially love Michelle. And so it was exciting and now we’re not excited as much,’” the president said. “You know what? I need everybody to understand that everything we’ve done is dependent on me being able to pass the baton to somebody who believes in the same things that I believe in. So if you really care about my presidency and what we’ve accomplished, then you are going to go and vote.” Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/obama-african-american-voters-2016-230626#ixzz4OrftcpkF Follow us: @politico on Twitter | Politico on Facebook

  10. Oh oohh... Post-ABC Tracking poll finds race tied, as Trump opens up an 8-point edge on honesty By Scott Clement and Emily Guskin November 2 at 7:00 AM What's in the latest Washington Post-ABC News tracking poll Embed Share Play Video0:54 The latest Washington Post-ABC News tracking poll shows Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in a virtual dead heat nationally.(Peter Stevenson/The Washington Post) Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are tied in the new Washington Post-ABC News Tracking Poll which finds Trump now holds an edge on which candidate is honest and trustworthy. A 59 percent majority of likely voters disapprove of Clinton's handling of questions about her use of personal email while secretary of state. This number, however, is no higher than the 60 percent who disapproved just over one week ago, before the FBI's announcement Friday that it may examine additional emails after previously closing its investigation in June. However, Trump has opened up an eight-point advantage over Clinton on which candidate is more honest and trustworthy, leading 46 to 38 percent among likely voters. The two candidates were tied on this measure the last time a Post-ABC poll asked the question in September; when asked individually, past polls found majorities seeing each candidate as dishonest. [Read full poll results] Wide disapproval of Clinton's answers on email use, but little change in past week Q: Do you approve or disapprove of how Clinton is handling questions about her use of personal email while she was secretary of state? Little change would be in line with immediate reactions, including Post-ABC tracking results from this weekend finding most say it will not sway their vote and Republicans the most likely to see it as a negative. The poll finds a dead even race in overall vote preferences, with 46 percent supporting Clinton and 46 percent backing Trump in the latest tracking wave conducted Friday through Sunday, little changed from Trump's 46-45 percent margin in the previous tracking wave released Monday. Clinton holds a one-point edge over Trump (48 percent to 47 percent) when third party supporters are asked to choose between the major-party candidates. In Virginia, a Washington Post-Schar School poll released Tuesday found Clinton ahead by six percentage points. Honesty and Clinton's emails Republicans are united in their criticism of Clinton's handling of questions about her email use while secretary of state, with 90 percent saying they disapprove of her response including 85 percent who disapprove "strongly." But while Republicans were already very unlikely to consider backing Clinton this year, the issue's reprisal now threatens her standing with independents and enthusiasm among Democrats. 5-Minute Fix newsletter Keeping up with politics is easy now. Sign up Fully 67 percent of independents in the latest survey disapprove of Clinton's handling of questions on this issue (56 percent "strongly"), and even 29 percent of Democrats give her negative marks for the way she's addressed the email issue. Independents and Democrats are where Clinton has lost the most ground to Trump on the question of honesty since early fall. At that point Trump held a narrow five-point edge among independents on which candidate is more honest and trustworthy (45 to 40 percent), but in the latest poll Trump leads by 23 points with independents on this question (49 to 26 percent), a shift due mostly to a fall-off among Clinton and a rise in the percentage saying "neither" is honest. The Washington Post-ABC News Tracking Poll was conducted by telephone October 28-31 among a random national sample of 1,773 adults including landline and cell phone respondents. 14. WTF? BREAKING NEWS – Two Iowa police officers were gunned down in their squad cars in the wee hours of Wednesday and a manhunt was underway after what authorities called ambush attacks. The shootings came near Des Moines and occurred just 25 minutes apart, according to Des Moines police Sgt. Paul Parizek. One Des Moines police officer and another from the suburb of Urbandale were found in their bullet-riddled cruisers. “In all appearances it looks just like that, that these officers were ambushed,” Parizek said. “It doesn't look like there was any interaction between these cowards and the officers they shot in their cars.” Neither cop was identified by officials, and as of a 5 a.m. news conference, police were still notifying family members. Parizek said their names and details about their service would be released later Wednesday. The shootings appear to be the latest cases of police officers being targeted for assassination in a year that has seen 111 police officers killed in the line of duty, including 50 by gunfire, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page. There was no information immediately available about witness accounts, how many shots were fired or whether police know who they are looking for. Parizek said he hopes to have a fuller picture of the suspect or suspects in the coming hours. Des Moines police said in a news release earlier that officers responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of 70th Street and Aurora Avenue at 1:06 a.m., and the first officers to arrive on scene found an Urbandale officer dying of gunshot wounds. Des Moines police officers responded to assist and just 20 minutes later, a Des Moines officer was found fatally shot at an intersection about two blocks away. “There's somebody out there shooting police. There is a clear and present danger to police officers right now,” Parizek said. The Des Moines Register reported that streets at both shooting scenes were closed amid the investigation. Schools in the area were also closing for Wednesday, officials said. The Des Moines police officer is believed to be the first from the city to be shot and killed on duty since two officers were gunned down in separate incidents in 1977, according to the Register. Two Des Moines police officers were killed earlier this year when their car was struck head-on by a wrong-way drunken driver, according to the paper. The Urbandale police officer is believed to be that department's first to be shot dead in the line of duty, Urbandale Police spokesman Sgt. Chad Underwood said at the press conference.
  15. You just keep telling yourself that. Look at every aspect of the voting base from rally turnout to yard signage internet enthusiasm. Clinton has very little of any. I live in a blue state thanks to the likes of dipshits like Mainecat taking up residence here. I have neighbors that actually removed their Clinton signs from their yard in disgust. Clinton supporters aren't going to vote in large numbers next week. Except for the most dedicated little mouth breathers.
  16. Really slinger? You think the clitons are clean? Are you that thick headed? Rhetorical question. You must be a real sleezball in person.
  17. Why don't you just keep on complaining about everything? Revkev is like the bleeding vagina of the north complaining about issues that have no direct effect on him.
