Watched an interview with the real DEA agent Murphy talking about what parts they over dramatized or even made up. The story is some compelling and brutal I'm not sure they needed to. Escobar is likely the most violent criminal to ever run an organization. Chicago has what around 500 murders a year and is 2.7 million. Medellin had a population of around 1.7 million and had years of 7000+.
