This group of people in Oregon tried to gain political seats by making voters sick enough so they would NOT get to the polls to vote.  This really makes you think about what is happening right now.

 

The 1984 Rajneeshee bioterror attack was the food poisoning of 751 individuals in The Dalles, Oregon, US through the deliberate contamination of salad bars at ten local restaurants with Salmonella. A group of prominent followers of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (later known as Osho) led by Ma Anand Sheela had hoped to incapacitate the voting population of the city so that their own candidates would win the 1984 Wasco County elections.^[2] The incident was the first and is the single largest bioterrorist attack in United States history.

Having previously gained political control of Antelope, Oregon, Rajneesh's followers, who were based in nearby Rajneeshpuram, sought election to two of the three seats on the Wasco County Circuit Court that were up for election in November 1984. Fearing they would not gain enough votes, some Rajneeshpuram officials decided to incapacitate voters in The Dalles, the largest population center in Wasco County. The chosen biological agent was Salmonella enterica Typhimurium, which was first delivered through glasses of water to two County Commissioners and then, on a larger scale, at salad bars and in salad dressing.

LESSON LEARNED#1: (VIGILANTLY GUARD THE FOOD CHAIN AGAINST THE IMPACT OF TERRORISM)

=>PEOPLE: 751 were contaminated including a pregnant mother.

=>ECONOMY: The outbreak cost local restaurants hundreds of thousands of dollars and health officials shut down the salad bars of the affected establishments. Some residents feared further attacks and stayed at home Resulting in 9 of the 10 restaurants going out of business.

=>PRIVATE-SECTOR: Private-Sector food industry Businesses must be vigilant and urged to plan, prepare, and exercise awareness, take action to restrict access, quarantine suspected tainted goods, and try to video or photograph the perpetrators.

LESSON LEARNED#2: (COVER-UP, DISINFORMATION, AND PROPIGANDA)

=>COVER-UP: They attempted to cover up the connections to their group, take further control of processes involved, and infiltrate legal system.

=>PROPIGANDA: Rajneeshee's followers took to the media calling anyone pointing the finger at Rajneeshee a racist and a hater, and paranoid Rajneeshee bashers. (sound familiar).

=>DISINFORMATION: Years later Rajneeshee followers had convinced themselves that he had done no wrong and Americans were to blame for the outcome, and continued to spread their version of the story (even though the Salmonella was clearly found in their lab and identified at the CDC as an exact match).

LESSON LEARNED#3: (GROUP CHARACTERISTICS AND HEURISTIC)

A 1999 empirical analysis in the journal Emerging Infectious Diseases published by the CDC described six motivational factors associated with bioterrorism, including: charismatic leadership, no outside constituency, apocalyptic ideology, loner or splinter group, sense of paranoia and grandiosity, and defensive aggression.

=>Additionally we can add a source of solidarity, foreign militarization and dictation or perpetual influence, camouflaged social relationships, enticements, punishments or other enforcement mechanisms, and many other factors.

LESSON LEARNED#4: (MECHANISM OF ILLEGAL ALIEN SUBVERSION)

=>INSIDIOUSNESS: The process was insidious, and the way to catch this phenomenon is to draw a series of demarcations around a development "no-go-lines," and watch how many times the group crosses the lines, who, and to what degree, and by what overt and covert mechanisms.

=>LOCALS: FAILURE OF INITIATIVE (They failed in their ability to assess and initiate investigative processes related to suspicious activity independently, they failed to act, plan and create a strategy intended to resolve or improve the situation, they almost failed to act or take charge before it was too late.

=>HOSTILE TAKE-OVER: Illegal Aliens grew their numbers to 7000 and got over 200 locals to help them in a small area. They slowly infiltrated and subverted the local government, excluded the other locals, and undermined the established institutions (including renaming the city), manipulating the law, massive wiretapped and bugging, harmed officials, conducted massive numbers of fraudulently marriages in an attempt to gain citizenship and leverage the resultant rights and further access control and legal structures.

=>INFLUENCING AN ELECTION: (SEE ABOVE ATTACK VECTORS) We have observed here that illegal aliens will do what it takes to "capture the flag," enough said.

I saw the documentary on Netflix, Wild Wild Country I think it’s called.  Took over the government of the local town by flooding the zone by bringing in tons of people that would vote for them.  Had a bunch of guns too.  Could have turned into a Waco situation.

Yeah, there is that documentary.  Forensic Files has an episode about them as well.  This was way more sophisticated and had much higher expectations than WACO.  The CDC and the government kept this secret for 10 years.  WACO happened on live TV.

Yeah, really messed up and propagated by someone trying to take over a county.  And think about what is happening in the country right now.  Seems similar on a much LARGER scale.
