Always changing Climate

But a crucial question remains; how did the Earth subsequently cool down, bringing back the ice sheets? According to Lohmann, their climate simulations haven’t been able to answer that question; understanding how this cooling occurred is going to be an important area of investigation for climatologists.

Asteroids. There’s ample evidence that the earth has been struck far more often than previously thought possible.

And they did what? Created a dust that block the heat from the sun?

That’s the concept. There’s a huge unraveling of past theories about past extinction events and swings in climate. Graham Hancock presented some ideas on this a few decades ago. He was literally banned from the scene. Now there’s evidence coming in from other science disciplines pointed to the same. The earth has been routinely struck by asteroids

Banned eh? Sounds like a real open minded group.

Some of Graham’s ideas were sheer lunacy, but he’s a free thinker and there is some very salvageable stuff there. He crossed a sort of line when he announced the age of the Sphinx at over 10,000 years old and possibly 13,000. People in that field lost their shit.
