Always wanted to get into those....but I know very little about them.

Electric is the hot way to go these days. Nitro is a lot more work and are fickle but a ton of fun

I had a pair of T-Maxx"s that were a blast and a 48" Pro Boat that I eventually sold. I still have a nitro boat and an elec boat that I might try to turn into a couple rc drag cars or dragsters

This revo is very nice. Lots of trick technology compared to my stuff from 15 years ago

The Pro Boat didn't have a clutch and was a pain to start with the elec start. I got a brainstorm and used a cordless to crank it and broke the gears lol. I ordered a pull start for it

The price of Nitro fuel up here is a kick in the nuts when it comes to toys. $40/ jug

Yeah that’s pricey

TBH I haven’t bought fuel in a long time. I still have some 20% TRAXXAS fuel and COOL POWER 30% for my EK4.

Nice looking unit. Do you go to a hobby shop or online.

I get everything online but there is a local RC shop I need to go check out

Wow! Sweet buggy! I was really big into slotcar racing in the early 90"s but there's very few tracks left here in Nookville and the hobby died out. There's a hobby shop about 45 min from my place and he carries alot of rc stuff. He has a couple of small slot tracks and the big track is stacked in a corner. I thought I'd get back into it but they're all running shitty stuff with neoprene tires and my stuff would just sit there and spin. I suggested he run foam tires and spray glue the corners but he doesn't want to clean the track. I would've had that place rockin with some good races
