Gold Member BOHICA Posted March 22, 2019 Gold Member Share Posted March 22, 2019 Alabama showing how it’s done and abolishing marriage licenses. More need to do what is happening here. States don’t need to be involved in approving marriages anymore. https://www.governing.com/topics/politics/alabama-senate-votes-to-abolish-state-marriage-licenses.html
Anler
Interesting. Marriage contracts are probably not a bad idea considering the divorce rate nowadays. People should put more thought into what they are expecting out of a marriage and put it in writing. I found this humorous also. Quote It will increase receipts to the state General Fund by an estimated $780,000 annually by providing for an additional $20 fee on each marriage contract upon filing of the contract, according to the bill's fiscal note. Would save a lot of courts time, energy, funds and stress.
