sear
Fall colors In my part of the Adirondack Park autumn foliage has become a tourist attraction. BUT !! Due to below average rainfall ("global warming" don't you know) it's reported that in this locality leaves are falling off the trees before they turn the otherwise eye-catching yellows & reds this region is known for. BUT !! It's still a great time of year.
Fireball 440
We drove like 400 miles yesterday, colors were better the further east we went.
Cold War
I hate the leaves. Already dreading when they start falling. a solid month or so of dicking around with leaves .
sear
By 7:30 this AM, @~50F on freshly rained upon roads and overcast sky, I had a motorcycle ride. I see the trees along the highway are turning; some near peak.

The trees here took a beating this year. we got hit really hard by caterpillars and also the lack of rain. drought always makes for shitty colors.
