See the fucked up thing is this guy blasting hiv all over on the walls in this club would have always had access to guns. He was a security guard and was licensed and had advance training. Pretty much a version of law enforcement. Any new gun legislation wouldnt have stopped this as law enforcement and security details are issued or expected to own these weapons as part of their job duty. Much like a mechanic is required to have hand tools. The only meaningful law that would have stopped this is to ban law enforcement/security guards from having any weapons.
