  3. I've had Polaris quads since 1998, just routine maintenance, exception was 2 worn out struts on my 2000 500 Sportsman but I had over 7000 hard miles on that one. Been on Poo sleds since 1984, pretty much the same with problems only on the very modified engines other than that trouble free, normal maintenance. I have 5 sleds now.
  4. Subject: Fw: How to get rid of ants Go to Home Depot or Walmart and buy a can of black spray paint. Stir up each ant mound as you go and the area around them with a stick. The ants will emerge by the hundreds to defend the mounds. Spray each mound and the surrounding area, making sure you get plenty of paint on the ants as well. Once the ants realize they live in a black neighborhood, they quit working and start killing each other.
  5. The one I bought was $10,800, I traded in a 2006 800 with 4005 miles and paid including taxes, $8545.50.
  6. Bought her a new front storage box today and installed the rear one we removed from the Sportsman 800 I traded in. Ready to ride Thursday on a 75 mile test run.
  7. I was looking at a 2016 RZR, has only 150 miles on it with many, many extras, engine is a modded 1000 turbo, BUT the guy wants $23,000 for it, he has $28,000 in it..sitting at Hayward Power Sports right now. Really, I've driven just about everything out there but so far anyhow I like ATV's better, besides Ranger's ride pretty choppy/rough when compared to RZR's or ATV's, understandable as they are more of a workhorse.
  8. Here's mine, hot grips, thumb warmer, IDD dash with GPS and all trail maps, Fox gas clickers, hand guards, front storage box, and a winch..we both have plows though.
  9. I've got a new Limited XP 1000 with many more options then her new one. This is the 4th. ATV I bought for her, last one I traded today was a Sportsman 800.
  10. rom – CFIF.org – by Betsy McCaughey Medical bills are pushing more Americans into severe financial distress, even if they have insurance. That’s the grim news from a top medical journal. These bills force hundreds of thousands into bankruptcy each year. What’s so galling is that while Americans struggle to pay their bills, freeloaders from other countries get the same care at no cost by gaming our generous open-door hospital policies. They take a flight to the U.S., go straight to an emergency room, and get pacemakers, chemotherapy and other expensive care, leaving U.S. taxpayers to foot their bills. Evan Levine, a cardiologist at a Bronx, New York, teaching hospital, recently treated a Trinidad resident who had learned his pacemaker battery was about to give out. He came to New York to avoid paying for cardiac care back home. Cost to him? Zero, aside from airfare. It’s a common practice, according to a medical device salesman who services hospitals in the New York area. He gets calls for pacemakers destined for patients from South or Central America who fly in and take a bus directly to the hospital. The bill for one pacemaker patient can reach $96,000. John Q. Public gets stuck with it. Taxpayers cough up an estimated $2 billion a year for a program called Emergency Medicaid, according to Kaiser Health News. It covers everyone unable to pay for emergency medical care, including illegal immigrants and residents of other countries here for medical freebies. No one should be left to die on the street. But forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for foreigners here to rip us off goes too far. Federal law requires that hospitals help all patients who come to the ER in labor or with a life-threatening condition. Lenient regulations are turning this into a gravy train. Hospital administration cannot ask about immigration status at any time, and they are barred from asking if patients can pay or have insurance until after they’ve been helped. Every ER posts signs telling patients they have a right to be treated, no matter what. Noah Schreibman, pulmonologist and critical care physician in Delray, Florida, explains that “if someone is short of breath, has chest pains, coughs up blood, or recently lost 20 pounds, they’ll get admitted.” “We are here to help, we treat everybody,” Schreibman insists, even as he acknowledges seeing foreign patients flocking to Florida hospitals for the free care. He doesn’t begrudge them, but taxpayers have every right to be outraged. So do Americans facing bankruptcy from their medical bills. Soaring deductibles are worsening the pressure, according to the JAMA Internal Medicine report, which shows deductibles up a whopping 86 percent since 2009. If you have cancer, you’ll pay thousands out of your own pocket before your insurance kicks in. But in New York, which has about the most liberal emergency Medicaid policies of any state, a medical tourist claiming poverty can get up to 15 months of inpatient chemotherapy — worth $150,000 — sticking taxpayers with the bill. The same holds true for inpatient dialysis, which sometimes costs even more. Patients who don’t medically require hospitalization are sometimes put in the hospital anyway because emergency Medicaid only pays for inpatient care. Uncle Sam turns a blind eye but at the same time hassles older Americans who come to the ER. Under a sneaky Obama administration policy, seniors seeking emergency care are put in “observation care” and then, when it’s time to leave, they’re slapped with huge bills and told they were never formally admitted to the hospital so Medicare won’t pay. And what about vets? As a thank you for their service, they’re clobbered with a hefty bill if they dare go to an emergency room that isn’t run by the VA. It’s so outrageous, a federal court just ruled against this practice. Levine has a sensible fix: Bill countries when their citizens come here to freeload, or deduct the cost from their foreign aid packages. Our nation’s priorities need to be fixed. Stop scrimping on care for vets and seniors, to spend money on people from other nations.

  13. Old age ain't for wimps....but it beats dying young. Two medical students were walking along the campus street when they saw an old man walking with his legs spread apart. He was stiff-legged and walking slowly. One student said to his friend: "I'm sure that poor old guy has Peltry Syndrome. Those people walk just like that." The other student says: "No, I don't think so. The old man surely has Zovitzki Syndrome. He walks slowly and his legs are apart, just as we learned in class." Since they couldn't agree, they decided to ask the old man. They approached him and one of the med students said to him…. "We're medical students and couldn't help but notice the way you walk, but we couldn't agree on the syndrome you might have. Could you tell us what it is?" The old man said, "I'll tell you, but first you tell me what you two fine medical students think." The first student said, "I think it's Peltry Syndrome." The old man said, "You thought - but you are wrong." The other student said, "I think you have Zovitzki Syndrome." The old man said, "You thought - but you are wrong." So they asked him, "Well, old timer, what do you have?" The old man said, "I thought it was GAS - but I was wrong, too!"
  14. When it comes to the Clintons, the scandals never end. This week, it was revealed that Bill Clinton took millions in money from a special "educational foundation" that pushes Sharia law -- the basic law of Islam -- around the world. "Why would Bill Clinton be participating in programs that teach Sharia in foreign countries where that is the specific objective of the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, and al-Qaida," Stephen Coughlin, a counterterrorism expert, wondered in an interview with the Daily Caller, which first reported the story. It's a good question. The former president took some $5.6 million total from 2012 through 2014 from Dubai-based GEMS Education, which runs 51 Sharia schools in the Mideast having some 250,000 students. It has schools in other countries and regions, including Asia, the United Kingdom, Africa and even Chicago, which has two schools. As the Daily Caller reports, GEM uses one-eighth of the proceeds of its schools "to fund Islamic Jihad." Oh yes, and, the Daily Caller reports, GEMS also gave the Clinton Foundation millions of dollars. So, again, why is Bill Clinton involved? Does he not know that Sharia, in its most extreme form, allows slavery, makes war against nonbelievers (Jihad) mandatory for all Muslims, encourages lying in support of Islam, oppresses women and gays, imposes hideous punishments, such as flogging, amputation, and death by stoning and beheading, for what many in the West would consider relatively minor crimes such as theft and adultery? Sharia treats non-Muslims as inferiors and unequal to believers of Islam. And Sharia insists that its precepts must take precedence over all other laws -- including the U.S. Constitution. That's why it should never have any place at all in the U.S. legal landscape. Yes, hundreds of millions of people lead fairly peaceful lives under Sharia, which governs all of Islam. But it's hard to see why a former American president would take money from a group that promotes religious tenets that stand in stark opposition to many of the West's most cherished beliefs and ideals. Given the Clinton Foundation's highly promiscuous fundraising activities from unsavory authoritarian regimes in the Mideast and elsewhere -- not to mention the appearance of numerous conflicts of interest between the Clinton Foundation's fundraising and Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state -- what remains is a disturbing taint of venality and corruption within the Clinton family. While they speak in their political appearances the lofty language of human rights, freedom and empowerment for all, the Clintons quietly pocket millions of dollars from authoritarian rulers and questionable organizations that oppose all three. Bill Clinton's shilling for Sharia is just one more example of this. The Daily Caller
  15. Hillary Clinton was immersed in a Marxist environment at an early age. Her senior thesis at Wellesley College was a positive analysis of the dirty political tactics of radical organizer Saul Alinsky, whom she referred to having a "compelling personality" and "exceptional charm." To illustrate her political leanings, the following are a sampling of her quotations: "We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." "It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, for the few, and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity." "We can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people." "We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground." "I certainly think the free market has failed." "I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector in the entire economy, that they are being watched." "What I want to do is take those profits and apply them to alternative energy." "I really believe that it takes a village to raise a child." "I also believe that every new handgun sale or transfer should be registered in a national registry..."
