I was tempted to take Amirola but it always seems that when he qualifies well, he runs like shit. He's better when he starts 10-15th. It looks like he has his car set up for longer green flag runs as his practice times show his fastest laps were from lap 11-20. Preece was 30th in practice yesterday. Yikes. SHR was able to put 4 Fords into the top 7 spots. Wonder where they found that magic. Probably find out with post race inspections....lol Briscoe is driving with a broken finger. In an interview he said he lacked strength in his left hand since having the surgery. This is one of Elliot's best tracks but he starts 24th and is his first race back since the accident. It will be interesting to see it all play out.

I heard the interview with Taylor on Siriusxm. He said he's used to getting respect on the track and drivers who use their heads to pass. He wasn't prepared for how hard Nascar guys run every lap or that they would attempt a pass with no hope of completing it. Way rougher and way more aggressive than sportscar racing. He will be better prepared next time.
