I leave our fan on year round....yes, the heat may kick on more, but that is the point, keep the entire house at one constant temperature vs. say the upper level hotter as heat rises.....for some, maybe this is a concern, for others, like myself, not a concern at all. The fan does have 2 speeds...low for when idle and then ramps up when heat or cool is called for.....you can also change the speed of the fan with dip switches at idle or when calling for heat or cool. Cannot comment on the stat and the furnace working better together as time passes......might be a newer technology, but most t-stats are "dumb" devices and not smart, but yours might be something totally different.

I "think" there can also be a discrepancy with the temperatures if the thermostat is set to say an oil furnace vs. a gas furnace....usually there is a dip switch or how the t-stat wires are connected to the actual t-stat that dictate this. I also vaguely recall a setting on mine that used to do something funny with how the heat came back on, you tell it to call for heat at say 6AM, but it would heat up in phases vs. all at once.....I turned that off shortly after I installed mine years ago. You likely have a furnace with a DC blower now, so if you do not already, just leave the fan on continuous vs. auto.....keeps the house at more constant & comfortable temperature throughout the entire house. And I always suggest people use F vs C temp settings.

Based on the trail map, yes, you need to back track from Shining Tree or Auld Reekie to pick up the L143.....unless you want to run the shoulder or fields along route 560 from Shining Tree to pick up L143.....last year I recall there was a fair amount of tracks running along 560 from Auld Reekie to where L143 crossed 560.

I think if you combine all the sleds Cat made for the 2017 model year, it might be 7500....

Puzzleboy says not possible to put 600 miles on a CAT...especially in 5 days!

So real speed is 111 ?!?! Even with warranty, I still have a hard doing it now a days......funny that I had no reservations with doing that with my F7!

I don't know why but I just can no longer hold a two smoke wide open for long durations....I find I will only do short WOT..... Although the tracks on my last two sleds were not the ones you do that with. Black vehicles when clean look sharp, but the clean part is hard to do....My current truck is White, easy to keep clean and accessorize.

Noticed today that Home Depot sells Trane furnaces.....I wonder if they sell to the general public? They sell gas HWH's so I assume they must.
