  1. Is that a current picture....looks like a 2016 permit on the front?
  2. Wow, where did you that.....out West?
  3. Another couple of hours though and you will see the board lit up with some puzzle talk....
  4. There is still plenty of water running in the bush....and the long range for Feb does not show much of a deep freeze! Another tough year for clubs and riders.
  5. I went through three OPP checks in the course of about 15 minutes coming into Bracebridge/Gravenhurst yesterday.... First check was two cruisers on the road where the trail enters/exits - full check. Second check was maybe 5 minutes up the trail by two OPP on sleds - told them I was just checked by OPP in cruisers up the trail - no check Third was a single OPP doing radar closer to Gravenhurst, she was on the road checking for speed as sleds came around the corner - went over to her, said hi and mentioned you guys are out in full force today. All officers I dealt with were pleasant though. What sign do people use to warn others of police ahead on a sled - I always use tap on the head with your hand, not sure people know this or I am the only one that uses it

It is too bad that some of the guys only went back to TBP and not here.....c'est la vie....
  7. Brace works great! Definitely grab one.
  8. That is good! Do you wear a brace or kidney belt....if not, might be something you consider, they really help with providing support.
  9. Feeling better I hope....or just being a "man" about it
  10. Better late than never.....Feb 1 is tomorrow !

    Leafs 2016-2018

Two shut outs in a row.....4-0! Did not catch either game though.
  12. Sorry, not sure....I just put that thought out there to consider as well to avoid future issues.
  13. LOL, ya I know.....it feels like it is March or near the end of the season, not mid-season
  14. Little bit each day, not tons, but it should help freshen up the trails.....plus "normally" more snow tends to fall than forecasted as you get further East from GB, whereas areas closer to GB tend to get the bigger snow squall dumps.
  15. You will find no details in the owners manual in regards to this.....although I think you might have the Yamaha inspired gauge vs. the Cat gauge, not sure what details they might give you in regards to that sled/gauge.
  16. as long as you have the deluxe, which you will if it is a limited, you can view it....likely just not doing it properly or holding the two buttons together long enough.
  17. They really do work great.....I run them pretty much f/t, temp stays between 120 & 130. And BTW, the Cat does have a temp setting, forgot to mention it above. If you have the deluxe gauge, you can view a bunch of things like coolant temp, voltage, etc.....Push & hold the two buttons on the gauge that are above each other (two on the left) for about 10 seconds, you will see the display portion where your trip/hours are normally displayed change to a bunch of numbers, hit the increment button (the one on top) until you see the first two digits state 03, the number to the right of 03 will state your coolant temp. if you turn the sled off or go into reverse, you need to redo the same process to get the temps back. Great for initial start up or riding in marginal conditions.
  18. You will actually get two heat warnings...first the flashing light on the dash to re-warn you to get into some snow than big letters on the display when it gets up there. Too bad about Denver's doo doo....but nice to hear he has a good dealer taking care of him & in the text, he still sounds like cup is half full. Reminds me of when he took the poo poo out there for the first time, if I'm not mistaken, ended up on a doo by the end of that season....wonder if it will be time for him to try the next manufacture....
  19. Kind of nice not running studs the last number of years. Another point to double check seeing as the dealer has a few strikes against him, make sure the studs are for single ply tracks with the thinner shoulder. Lots of opinions on this, but I though the general consensus was to not use double backers on single ply tracks?
  20. Thinking a left over stud might have been left in the skid
  21. LOL....now that you tell the stories, it all makes sense
  22. So what exactly do you do to get yours

Just looked at the standing, they are in 7th....also have actually caught a few games as of late, fun to watch, been having a great PP as of late too! But it is tight right now too.
  24. add soup to that list too...
  25. Oh yes, I forgot about the 7000....plus you added a turbo to that one if I am not mistaken that did not go too well, or maybe that was another sled.... And yes, the 1200 meltdown, in Gravenhurst I think....memory is getting to be the shit
