The US doesn't use the type of oilsands that the keystone would carry, and in addition it would take up refinement capacity that could be used for oil we do use. OPEC can cut back and nullify any gains that the keystone could supply, and currently some of their own members are not even meeting their allowed quotas.

And yet US oil companies are pumping 13.10 million BPD, looks like Biden is losing his war on oil.

Consider this, according to Ed Hyman in the 2 years of the pandemic Americans wealth grew near 30%. So Trump's stimulus was 3 trillion, Biden's was 1.2 trillion, so if you are going to blame stimulus money for inflation who is responsible for nearly 2/3's of the amount.
