  1. I agree...he should be fired right away. We don't like bad cops any more than anyone else out there. There are bad examples in every profession, from garbage collectors to doctors...
  2. You do know that driving is not a constitutional right?
  3. Sounds / looks like you're afraid to me. All the typical signs. Name calling, lumping all into same categories. Hiding behind a keyboard. It's ok to admit you're afraid. It's similar to those who rant about homosexuality the most. There are groups and Dr's to help you.
  4. looks great!!!! And yes...sooo much easier while on blocks!!
  5. Ahhh. the irrational fear of police returns!! I've missed you!!
  6. Ahhhh....it all makes sense now!!!!!!!
  7. There is no actual number once you exceed the. 05 mark. Just shows a W or an F if you are above .08. If she blew a warn while truly only having 1 glass, she's either about 95lbs or it was one huge glass.
  8. The worry stems from the increased impaired by drug driving, the increased occurrences of mental health issues in younger people, the increased presence of the black market, the 67% jump in hospital ER visits.. And it's not actually legal yet.
  9. The legalization of weed is definitely making us worried. Based on Colorado there is a great deal to be concerned about. Hopefully the province's manage it better than they did.
  10. Lmfao! You sound like Zoso!! If there was no driving then there can be no demand or licence suspension. A driver's licence is not a Constitutional right. It's is loaned to you by the province based on their rules and regulations.
  11. The laws...not us PIGS.. Plus I'm pretty sure the PIGS did not encourage or force her to drink.
  12. This is inline with Europe and US.. Also its been suggested to reduce the criminal limit fro .080 to .050 also inline with majority of the world... The legalization of weed is driving a lot of this as well... and there will still need to be suspicion of alcohol consumption to make demands for a roadside screening device and/or the intoxilyzer.
  13. Because everything is on camera these days...and everybody sues should she drive away and get into a collision. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.
  14. Hmmm... No idea. I have never really noticed the reputation thing to be honest...
  15. LOL!! Almost makes me miss the Ninja...
  16. From Ontario Regulation 611 https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/900611 (3) The steering column, other steering components and the handlebars shall be inspected and tested and, (a) the steering column, other steering components and handlebars shall not be loose in their mountings to the body and frame; (b) no bolt or nut shall be loose or missing from a mounting; (c) steering shaft couplings and splines shall not have excessive play; (d) if fitted, the steering column energy absorbing section shall not be visibly damaged so as to reduce its effectiveness; and (e) no part of the handlebar shall exceed a height of 380 millimetres above the uppermost portion of the operator’s seat when the seat is depressed by the weight of the operator. 380mm = 14.96 inches... So yes, you were pretty much bang on!
  17. Soon!!! A couple seasons ago got rid of my Ninja ZX10-R and admitted defeat to old age and injuries by picking up a 1500 Nomad. (no longer has chrome luggage rack on it)
  18. Awesome!!!! Sadly, we still have ice around our marina...
  19. Good question!!! You are right. Within the radius they would be arrested and held for bail hearing. Outside the radius the police force that stops the bad guy sends a request to the agency with the warrant.. for example I stop guy on trail in Bancroft and he's wanted by TO but with a 50km radius. My dispatcher will contact them to see what they want done. Many times TO will not come get them due to lack of manpower and sheer cost to taxpayer for "minor" warrants. What I do as the officer on scene is update all the information on the bad guy, where he's living, who he is with, any new tattoos, change in hair etc and send that off to Toronto. I then strongly advise bad guy to take care of his matters and charge him with whatever I can as a result of the stop. Sometimes I am able to get the ok from my boss to return the guy myself depending on the circumstances. Many police forces use a small radius to encourage the bad guys to stay away from the area...
