    Ofsc trail map

I thought I had heard it was every Wednesday.... Came from a buddy of mine who was running a club. This was about 2-3yrs ago however.
  2. Yes I'm sure. You do have to be at least 12 to get an MSV licence and ride trails.
  3. As long as he is not on a trail or roadway he may drive the sled. I'd check with your insurance to see if they will honour coverage however. Sean
  4. Congrats on new toys! No real guidelines other than common sense. As you said...out of sightlines but also consider the airbag deployment zone as well. Ear buds have become acceptable it seems but check your mirrors often as you won't hear sirens and horns....or obnoxious Harleys! As for volume adjustment on the gps you should be good. Can't input destinations etc... Merry Christmas, happy holidays to you and yours!
  5. Sadly an all too common scenario. I'm glad you were not involved, injured or worse. Stay safe out there rev. Life is already short eniugh without all this extra bs...
  6. .... and Happy New Year from me and my family to all of you and yours! Be safe and have a great holiday season!!! Sean
  7. We can pull them off and order a safety inspection be performed before the vehicle is allowed on the road again. I've done this a few times with trailers similar to what you saw. Bent axles, tires rubbing, cracks in frames, overloaded..etc...
  8. Good point rev. Dave, as long as it's installed properly and of course fastened to the tow vehicle with two means of attachment I wouldn't see an issue with it. I'm not sure what the MTO would think... but in my opinion...if they allow SnowBear trailers to be towed down the hwys then anything goes!!!
  9. Quite the read... Glad you are able to see what was and is going on and use it to continually strive to better yourself! Brave man for posting here.. But I see the responses seem genuine and positive for the most part even though this stuff makes us all feel a little uncomfortable when reading!!
  10. See this complaint every year it seems. Unfortunately there is no specific law or regulation... BUT the MNR was dealing with a few cases... May be worth reporting to them to see what they say. I will do some more digging to see what I can come up with in the meantime..
  11. Sorry guys... did not know this was a thing now. Will look at our tickets when I get back to work.
  12. I have not heard this. If you look on the back of the offence notice there are a few check boxes. One of them is plead not guilty and request trial date. You then mail that in (keeping a copy of course). What you are talking about may refer to "early resolution".. basically a plea of guilty BUT with a meeting with the crown. Between the tow of you, a mutually beneficial deal is struck.. i.e. reduced speed and fine, lesser included offence etc... Courts are actively trying to reduce both costs and time. The early resolution is a start. As for changing procedures... the courts often come up with alternatives or new SOP's BUT they have to be approved by the minister. Thank you very much for the holiday wishes!! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!!
  13. Kinda like the K-car of the boating world!!!
  14. Lmfao!! Yeah... you know me and railbeds!! I'm probably going to miss the full season.
  15. Shitty... condolences for the loss of your friend CKF
  16. I dunno... those fobs can be quite nice!!
  17. No worries.. to be fair, I'm still doped up on drugs after shoulder surgery.... had to re-write that post a few times!
  18. Just read that. Was shocked at the low numbers!! I think they miss stepped when they made the dancer into a sedan/coupe style and no longer a traditional express cruiser.. Then priced it out of reach of higher end of middle class families.
  19. Hey guys... interesting debate with good points and ideas. Maybe could be its own thread and we just keep this one the plain ol' boring question/answer thread with the occasional bacon wrapped donut joke??
  20. I like open to attract members and prevent stagnation.. And yes.. It is Freedom Sledder but that doesn't mean absolutely everything goes... Just like free speech there are some limits... But in the end..it's your site and your right to do with it as you please. I personally don't miss this banned member. He was very personal and direct in his attacks and unable to accept it in return. I truly believe he has legitimate mental health issues. Showing all the classic signs and symptoms of schizophrenia and bipolar. Just my $0.02
