  1. shit yeah, my buddy had one. managed to find a pristine 87 cutlass with low miles in highschool. floated you down the road. just like everyone else did, it was nicknamed the Gutlass. of course, me being cheap, racing and paying my way through college I ended up with a smashed 87 cavelier that came with the donar parts to fix it. $600 for a car with 70k miles that needed a hood fender and grill swapped over. it had over 140k on it by the time I just got sick of driving it anymore. there was nothing wrong with it that I couldn't have fixed in a day. think I put brakes and an exhaust on it every year though bought lifetime warranty parts and they would only last a year.
  2. american graffiti is a classic. love that one! hollywood nights is good too. laugh my ass off every time I see the punch scene.
  3. isn't it illegal to park a non-tracked vehicle on a snowmobile trail
  4. like I said, the trail literally runs directly down the runway on this airport.
  5. not sure about faa laws and access, this is a private uncontrolled airport (no tower) . has been used for sleds as long as there have been sleds. really?? it's not dark after 7pm?? worthington on a week night... after 7pm. that's a local guy riding around. he knows the terrain. probably ridden that airport 100 times this winter alone. theres a slight rise in the middle of the runway and from the picture it looks like he landed towards the end on the far side of the rise. theres a stand of tall pines there that the helicopter is in front of. the helicopter is black and blends into the trees at night behind it. if you can't open your sled up on the only spot that everyone uses for a drag strip then fuck, this sport has gotten to many helicopter parents in it even for me. maybe the pilots should have seen the sled tracks and tried not landing on a trail.
  6. yeah, I would LOVE to hear your side of the story if you are running on the trail you are familiar with and is used as the areas drag strip at night and come up on a black helicopter in the middle of the trail when you are probably running close to a hundred. exactly. The helicopter was from Fort Drum Army Base in upstate New York and landed in Worthington around 7 p.m., as part of a routine training flight. Army Base spokeswoman, Julie Halpin told 22News the aircraft had pre-arranged to land there after some daytime training and was waiting for the sun to set so they could fly home using night-vision goggles. I'd be looking to discuss that one with my lawyer. uncontrolled airport that is closed during the winter and has a trail literally running down the grass runway. stupid move to park a black helicopter on a trail at night. who's fault would that be if it was a road?? my father traded in his built up 93 ext 580z in 95 to get a zr and the guy who bought it from smith's was king of the airport that year. Jim would tell my ole man every time he came in how much the guy loved that thing
  7. I road on that trail. The airport is just a drag strip in the winter. Not plowed last time I was there. Seems pretty dumb for a black helicopter to park on snowmobile tracks waiting for dark.

I rest my case your honor btw, it's not a math problem, it's a physics problem :bh: Measure the circumference of the rollers in the conveyor , calculate revolutions per minute and then multiply these two figures together to determine conveyor belt speed. Manufacturers and grocery stores typically use conveyors to move products along a specific path. Objects and materials placed on top of the conveyor belt will be moved from one edge to the other as the rollers spin. The speed at which the conveyor belt moves depends on the size of the rollers and their revolutions per minute. thickness of the belt does not play out in the equation

unfortunately nobody considers it's worth 10g to have to deal with your weird ass
  13. all she did was call campus security.... the security chief is the guy who set it up and got it done. good on him, not the professor.
  14. whats the long range weather outlook up there?? need a little more snow to go with the cold! things must be firming up with those kind of temps :Bc: 60 overnight and during the day.... 67 for an hour when I get up and from 5-9pm.... keeps the bills down!

he's not that smart... and will just go off on some weird tangent about trying to pay some college professor to prove some stupid bet and have some ridiculous amount of money held to prove said bet that has already been proven by the actual companies that make the tracks. when you have an email from camoplast that says it makes no difference one way or an other I think you are getting the gospel from the horses mouth so to speak

please god don't even start with him
  19. me neither... cabin is my grandfathers place and he's in his 80's now. doesn't really want to deal with it anymore either so he's thinking about selling it. If he does I may just get out of riding. 3.5 hours is too far away for me to want to buy it from him. I have a boat I use in the summer so I don't get up there much. place is on a pond and real quiet but the amount I actually ride won't justify a new sled nevermind the cabin.
  20. heard they are redoing parker pie?? you been recently??
  21. are you replacing the entire assembly or just a bulb??doesn't look that hard?? only have to pull part of the bumper cover to get at the bolts for the assembly. very dumb way to build a car though.
  22. yeah, that's where I ride out of. 16 runs right across the driveway for our cabin. just down the road from parker pie.
